The net vouchers of MTNL3G are also very cheap and if you by a coupon

This connection you will get for life time, at least for next 5 years.

In Mumbai, you can buy a prepaid 3G connection in approximately 100
 rupees
and use the net for checking your E-mails and all very smoothly. You
 may
also connect your Mobile with Desktop or Laptop via cable in order to
 get
 connected with Internet.
The net vouchers of MTNL3G are also very cheap and if you by a coupon
 of Rs.
100, you'll get more than 150 MB's to be used! and it would serve your
 purpose I believe.
This connection you will get for life time, at least for next 5 years.
 That
means you will be able to use the Internet in your next visit too.

 Thanks,

 Hi folks,

We at Computer Room Services are proud to be selling the Beyo CBS Reader.

This is a text reading program for your mobile phone at an affordable price.

Install it to your Talks enabled phone, take a snapshot of a page of text, a
box, a packet, anything with text on it, and it will be read to you, using
its own very clear text to speech engine. You can also read the output with
 Talks too.

The cost is £75.00 plus VAT if applicable.

If you would like to try it for 14 days, please feel free to download it,
including documentation at this direct link:-

 http://www.comproom.co.uk/beyocbs/beyocbs.zip

Please note this reader does not have all the features of KNFB reader at the
moment, such as saving of scanned documents, but it is an excellent reader,
 with a unique aiming assistant.

The Beyo CBS reader is sold generally on the Beyo CBS web site,
 http://www.beyocbs.com,
but I am really proud to say that the great folks at
Beyo CBS have produced a more VI-friendly version especially for us.
 Thanks guys!

Change the Windows 7 or Vista Power Buttons to Shut Down/Sleep/Hibernate

Change Windows 7 Shutdown Button

Windows 7 makes it really easy – just head into the Start Menu /
Taskbar preferences by right-clicking on the start menu and choosing
Properties.

All you need to do is change the drop-down for Power Button Action to
whatever you would prefer.

Change Windows Vista Power Buttons
You can configure this setting easily by using the advanced power
settings panel, which is a little tricky to get to normally, but we’ll
take the shortcut.

Open a command prompt (type cmd into the start menu search bar), and
then type in the following:

block quote
powercfg.cpl,1

block quote end

You could also take the long route (Control Panel \ Power Options \
Change Plan Settings \ Change Advanced Power Settings)

Once you get to this dialog, browse down to “Power buttons and lid”

From here, you can change the options:

• Power button action – Changes the hardware power button action
• Start menu power button – Changes the power button on the Start Menu

You can change the power button to either Sleep, Hibernate or Shut
Down, or even nothing for the hardware power button.

hope it helps:

2009-12-16 Thread Amiyo Biswas

Hello,

Finally, I have found the link for section 80U as provided in the web site
of the finance ministry. Activate the link and then use the print button for
a hard copy. I hope, my department will accept it.

Go to
http://finmin.nic.in

On this page go to the link for Acts Subordinate Legislation.

There locate Income Tax Act, 1961 and activatge the Acts link below it. Note
that they use the same text for all links.

Then locate the link for DEDUCTIONS TO BE MADE IN COMPUTING TOTAL INCOME and
hit enter on it.

Now locate the link for 80U and activate it.

Here you will find the print button.

With Best regards,
Amiyo Biswas.

The amendment made in section 80U through the finance budget for 2009-10

This increase was done through an amendment to section 80U applies only
to completely disabled individuals.

Provided further that for the assessment years beginning on or after the
1st day of April, 2010, the provisions of the first proviso shall have
effect as

if for the words seventy-five thousand rupees, the words one lakh rupees
had been substituted.

(2) Every individual claiming a deduction under this section shall
furnish

a copy of the certificate issued by the medical authority in the form and
manner,

as may be prescribed along with the return of income under section 139,
in

respect of the assessment year for which the deduction is claimed :

Provided that where the condition of disability requires reassessment of
its extent after a period stipulated in the aforesaid certificate, no
deduction

under this section shall be allowed for any assessment year relating to
any previous year beginning after the expiry of the previous year during
which

the aforesaid certificate of disability had expired, unless a new
certificate is obtained from the medical authority in the form and
manner,

prescribed and a copy thereof is furnished along with the return of
income

Re: [AI] MS Word 2007 problem

2009-12-16 Thread moiz tundawala
Hi

You can explore another option. The documents in word 2007 can be
converted into word 2003 compatible documents. Do the following:
Open the word 2007 document that you want to convert
Press alt F followed by A and you should hear something like save as
dialogue. It is the same keystroke that we have in word 2003.
Give your preferred file name and hit tab. You would hear something
like save as type. Use the arrow keys until you reach word 97-2003
document.
Select your preferred destination and save.

Hope this helps.

Re: [AI] clarification needed

2009-12-16 Thread Asudani, Rajesh
Hello Sharafu
1. THERE is no reservation in promotions in class I and ii jobs.
2. There is 3% reservation in promotion in class iii and iv jobs.
3. what it means is that: there is reservation in promotion within class iv
jobs from one grade to another, and there is also reservation in promotion from
class iv to iii and also in promotion within class iii from one grade to
another.
However, all these reservations apply if element of direct recruitment in the
post to which promotion is made does not exceed 75%.
Further, there is no reservation in promotions within and from class ii to I,
or iii to ii.

In your particular case, if the post of primary or high school teacher comes in
class II, as I suppose it does, then I am afraid there is no reservation.

Hey All,

Use of File convertor is a good solution. Alternately you can save the
office 2007 file as office 2003 and open at your home PC.

Also there is an option of setting saved file format as office 2003
instead of default office 2007 so the problem of interconversion can
be avoid in totality.

In case you desire File convertor than let me know. Its a small 45 MB
file available at microsoft site.

MOBILE COLOR RECOGNIZER AND LIGHT
DETECTORhttp://www.abledata.com/abledata.cfm?pageid=113583top=0productid=174771trail=0
The Mobile Color Recognizer and Light Detector (MCR) is a light detection
and color identification program designed for use by individuals who are
blind or have low vision. This software works with Mobile Speak and Mobile
Accessibility cell phone display readers (see separate entries) to enable a
camera phone to function as a color identifier and light detector. It works
with almost all Symbian series 60 phones. With this software, the phone can
be used to determine the color (or different colors) of an object and the
level of light. The program can also detect multiple colors and describe the
location of different colors in a multi-color object (for example, top
green, left light blue). The colors which can be identified are white,
gray, black, yellow, orange, pink, red, green, blue, brown, and purple, as
well as light and dark tones of these colors. The software can detect four
different levels of light: bright, normal, dim, and dark. To use the
identifier, the user points the camera on an object and the software will
tell the color and / or the light level. COMPATIBILITY: For use on Nokia

In case you desire File convertor than let me know. Its a small 45 MB

You can get Nokia N82 within that range. I have to say that it is fast
disappearing so you should get it soon. In fact it has already gone
out of the US market. Having used it for the past year or so, I
 certainly like it's performence.
