You will find all your mails-received, sent, drafts and of course your
archived mails- in the "All Mail" folder. Archiving your mails is not
a mistake actually,- it is a good practice as all your mails being in
the inbox will be avoided. I do archive my mails, by the way. You can
always use the search facility to find specific mails.

Dear friends,
The price of Jaws is exhorbitant because of the the exchange rate.
Here I have one suggestion- like Indian edition of foreign books, if
an Indian edition of Jaws is brought out the price can become very
affordable. Can an Indian edition of Jaws be attempted?

Re: [AI] notebook, or netbook?

Dear Sameer and all

Just to add, it seem that netbooks are deficient without the optical drives
like CD or DVD. However, it should be noted that the Max capacity of DVD is
about 4 GB and CD 700 MB. However 4 GB pen drives are available for about Rs.
300 and hence one can do without the optic drives if one can have access to
desktops when in need. However, these drives add up to the weight and battery
usage.

For most netbooks takes care of their mobile PC needs.

Hi Prateek, Bro You forget to mention 1 thing that, Net book also comes without
optical drive. I mean that , No cd or dvd rom or writer install on it. You have
to atach cd or dvd through USB.

Hello sir,

I'm interested in purchasing this wonderful netbook but have a few
doubts which I would like to clear before submitting the form.
1. In the specifications, I couldn't find bluetooth, 3G & GPS on the
official Samsung page, i.e.
http://www.samsung.com/us/consumer/office/mobile-computing/netbooks/
NP

-N150-JA01US/index.idx?pagetype=prd_detail&tab=spec
So, I'd like to know is this some sort of custom made netbook
different from the official version?
2. After downloading & filling the form, am I supposed to take it's
print out and speed post it to my chosen DFI organisation or can I
email this application as well along with my disability certificate ?
The reason why I ask this is that email is much more efficient than
post, and I don't want my application reaching office after the

has elapsed.

Dear Members, Friends and Supporters of DAISY,

The March issue of the DAISY Planet is now available at:
http://www.daisy.org/planet-2010-03.

What goes around comes around, and in this issue of the Planet copyright and
reading rights are featured once again. CSUN's 25th anniversary is covered
most ably by Varju Luceno - this one is worth reading particularly if you
did not make it to the CSUN Conference this year.

This month's "Story" is from Lars Sönnebo. Some of you will know Lars, but
even if you have had the opportunity to make his acquaintance, you will
still find his story illuminating. Lars' story is in two parts; Part 2 will
be published with the April DAISY Planet. Many thanks Lars for sharing your
story with us.

The DAISY Planet is your newsletter, and your input and comments make it
meaningful to our community and others interested in information access.
Please share news and updates about your organization's or company's DAISY
activities with us by using the Contact Us form on the DAISY Web site
(http://www.daisy.org/contactus/) selecting the "DAISY Planet Newsletter"
category). Letters to the Editor are, as always, most welcome.

Please forward this email to everyone you know who may be interested in
reading about DAISY, the DAISY Consortium and other topics of interest to
the DAISY community.

All members of our mailing lists receive "The DAISY Planet".

Warm wishes to all,

[AI] Java Virtual Machine for windows 7 64 bit os?

2010-03-30 Thread Amar Jain
A Very Good Morning to All:
I have come up with a query.
Those who are reading this mail might know that most of the trading softwares
require you to have java virtual machine installed in your system for running
such softwares.
I have account with MOSL, and their trading software called "My Broker"
requires java virtual machine.
I do not possess much knowledge of JVM, but I was reading an article by ms, in
which they stated that from July-09, they don't support it.
Now if I try to install jvm which is given on MOSL site, then I see the
compatibility issue dialog. That means, that the current os is not compatible
with jvm.
So in such a situation when I have to run this software, then what option is
open for me?
MOSL has not stated anything for win 7 users on its site, and their support
team says that we do support all computers.
I am trying with them, but I am pretty sure that from here I will have better,
sensible and speedy response.
Awaiting replies.
Regards,
Amar Jain.

have been on there website also! All the demo versions of talks can be
downloaded from Nuance's website then why there is a need to post some link
to some external website and that also for a demo copy?

Sir,

I'm not so much concerned about the 3G connectivity but more so
interested in bluetooth connectivity & a little of GPS which according
to the official description is nowhere to be found.
So, kindly reconfirm whether these features are present in this netbook.

Thankyou

No, there isn't any screen reader available for this Motorola version.
The reason being that the operating system used by Moto in this
handset is not the one which Nokia uses i.e. Symbion, rather it uses
the recently launched Google's operating system i.e. Android, &
unfortunately Google was never too particular about it's accessibility
policies..

Just go to this link: http://java.com/en/download/faq/java_win64bit.xml
and read through it and download the 64 bit Java version for your

Dear Bro,
The link which you gave is for regular java software.
But that doesn't solve the problem of this virtual machine.
I red about this virtual machine on wikipedia, but don't remember what is
it.
But I'm sure, that installing java for 64 bit doesn't solve my problem as I
already have got java installed for both 32 and 64 bit on my laptop.

Take Care

I have come up with a query.
Those who are reading this mail might know that most of the trading
softwares require you to have java virtual machine installed in your

for running such softwares.
I have account with MOSL, and their trading software called "My Broker"
requires java virtual machine.
I do not possess much knowledge of JVM, but I was reading an article by
ms,

in which they stated that from July-09, they don't support it.
Now if I try to install jvm which is given on MOSL site, then I see the
compatibility issue dialog. That means, that the current os is not
compatible with jvm.
So in such a situation when I have to run this software, then what option
is

open for me?
MOSL has not stated anything for win 7 users on its site, and their
support

team says that we do support all computers.
I am trying with them, but I am pretty sure that from here I will have
better, sensible and speedy response.
Awaiting replies.
