[AI] Query on banks

2010-07-26 Thread Tanya
Hi all,

I recently received an SMS about recruitment at SBI. Is there a minimum age
requirement for the same and when are the exams?

Also, which college offers a part-time MBA course in Mumbai?

Looking forward to your responses. Thanks a lot.

Hi Prashant,

I do not know how feasible this is but try the skim reading mode. You can
define the color of the text you do want jaws to read.

[AI] JAWS customization for word?

2010-07-26 Thread Prashant Naik
Dear friends,

Please help me in solving this problem. For a small kid while he works in
word with JAWS version 11, I don’t want JAWS to read text with atrributes
such as say red colour or attribute as bold or underline / strikethrough,
etc. when using down arrow. This is needed so that the kid can skip
lines where he has already worked on. In say all mode of JAWS using config
manger this is possible and i got the expected result but how to do this
while using the line by line reading mode? In my case after trying various
settings JAWS used to play a sound or read in different voice / language but
also used to say the line text. I do not want JAWS to say text but it can
make sound or it can be muted in that line where such formatting is made.

Thanking you in anticipation.

Regards,

Prashant

2010-07-26 Thread Arpit Jain
I personally use driver genius, though I would recommend that if you
are using laptops which are still in support cycle by the company,
then stick with those drivers itself. This can be crucial for your
battery life as some companies like Sony release drivers which are
actually optimized for their own laptops and if you use any third part
drivers, then it can sometimes adversly affect your system.

Re: [AI] Issues with my E52

2010-07-26 Thread Mukesh Sharma
Did you installed the latest version of Mobile Speak on the phone?
And also removed Talks?
Where have you installed Talks and Mobile speak, in the phone memory or the
storage card?
This kind of problem is mostly because of the insufficient memory on the
device.

Thanks
Mukesh

Subject: [AI] Issues with my E52

Hi all,

My name is Anandhi and i am from Bangalore.

I am facing certain issues with my E52. My mobile keeps hanging several
times during the day and does not revive on its own. each time i have to
remove the battery and put it back. I was initially using the one month
trial version of Talks on this mobile and i did not face this problem. I am
now using the one month trial version of mobile speak and i started facing
the problem from day one.

I want to know whether this is due to mobile speak- though it appears
so- or if this a general problem with the handset itself.

I think there could be a problem with the mike also as most people ask me to
repeat myself.

Would appreciate any help on this.

Best,
Anandhi

In this movie the acting of nashiruddin shah is extra ordinary.

What about its after sale services? Will it be shipped to its country of

yes, what is the warranty period?
Answers of these questions are eluding me for quite some time. Any help

I find it quite handy and user friendly. You can eaisly choose the
text file for reading. The voice quality of reading may not be what
one desire for, nevertheless it is clear and audible. Surely, Angel
can be your companion when you are not in front of your computer or
when power supply is cut. MP3 , radio and recording facilities are
extremely good.

Further please inform whether it has arrow keys for navigation while

In other words, can we read bit text files on it with ease of navigation?

Re: [AI] Acting blind is difficult: Deepika

The funny thing is, the name is mentioned only in the bottom para. The
cardinal rule of journalism says all necessary info of an article must
be available in the first two paras.

Mumbai: A visually challenged person cannot see the beauty of the Taj Mahal.
But now he will be able to ‘feel’ the beauty of the monument by touching the
exteriors of a scaled-down model of the Taj.
Sounds unreal, but a team from IIT-Bombay believes that the use of haptic
technology — in simpler words, the science of touch — can make this a reality.

I find it quite handy and user friendly. You can eaisly choose the
text file for reading. The voice quality of reading may not be what
one desire for, nevertheless it is clear and audible. Surely, Angel
can be your companion when you are not in front of your computer or

Subject: [AI] Issues with my E52

Hi all,

My name is Anandhi and i am from Bangalore.

I am facing certain issues with my E52. My mobile keeps hanging
several times during the day and does not revive on its own. each time
i have to remove the battery and put it back. I was initially using
the one month trial version of Talks on this mobile and i did not face
this problem. I am now using the one month trial version of mobile
speak and i started facing the problem from day one.

I want to know whether this is due to mobile speak- though it appears
so- or if this a general problem with the handset itself.

I think there could be a problem with the mike also as most people ask
me to repeat myself.

Would appreciate any help on this.

Best,
Anandhi

Re: [AI] feedback required on ANGELTalking Pocket Daisy Reader

2010-07-26 Thread Srikanth Kanuri
hi all, thanks all for your feedback:
I am using rock box sansa 8 G.B players with more features of video
compared to angel player except for it does not play daisy books. i am
finding it to be difficult to use it: actually they say it to be fully
accessible but could not find it to be much accessible.
I also heard that from apple there are some accessible solutions for
MP3 players.
can anyone please let me know which would be a better solution. cannot
purchase one more which is not accessible and could not be accessed.
further can anyone please assist me whether angel is having F.M
recording or not.
does it read the F.M frequencies such as 93.5, 92.7 etc. can we give a
name to each F.M station. will it be having display for tracks to be
displayed or not.
does it have any video features?

thanks in advance:
Srikanth.

[AI] Issues with my E52

2010-07-26 Thread Anandhi Viswanathan

Best,
Anandhi
