Re: [AI] Gift Wrapping
Zoher, like I mentioned, it is easier to use a paper cutter, also called a letter opener if you are using paper. Once you have figured how much paper you need, just fold it right across from there and slide the cutter through to get a clean cut. The fancy cellophane papers can be better cut with a pen knife, if you have one handy. Just be careful you don't slice your finger in the bargain. Although, pen knives are usually safe to use. Re: [AI] Gift Wrapping
Syed, There is a whole lot of stuff available at the various gift stores to accessorise and pretty up your gift wrapped package. There are of course, the ribbons and bows, which are now available ready made. Also, there are always the cards, confetti shaped into pretty shapes and many 3 dimentional characters. All you need to do is to get to one of these places and run riot. Alternatively, I've find the straight laced way of wrapping a gift boring occasionally. In which case the variation is to use the fancy cellophane sheets, put your gift in the middle of it and collect the loose ends and bunch it together. Seal the opening with a tape and then a pretty bow. It looks like a little fountain of paper on top and different. Visualize a toffee, wrap a gift like that too. Go on and have some more fun the next time you decide to wrap a gift. Hello, I have tried for many a times and I can manage it quite accurately. 1. Spread the paper on the table. 2. Adjust the gift on the paper on such a way that the paper's 1 end should reach the gift other end. ( take the paper from the left side of the gift and it should come to the extreme edge of the right side of the gift. 3. Tape it properly 4. Now take the paper from the right side of the gift and bring it on the top of the gift and tape it too. 5.Now fold the paper inside from the small edge and tape it ( do it for both the sides). 6. Now bring the paper from lower edge and tape it. Repeat the same action from the upper edge. Accuracy will come by practice. Regards! [AI] UGC norms for NET declared illegal by Kerala High Court: [An Update]
UGC norms for NET declared illegal by Kerala High Court Kochi: The Kerala High court on Monday declared as illegal the new norms fixed by UGC for the National Eligiblity Test (NET) for college and university lectureship. "The power of UGC ought to have been excercised in a proper, fair and reasonable manner," Justice T R Ramachandran Nair held while allowing a batch of petitions challenging the new norms. The court held that fixing of higher aggregate marks for three categories, that too just before the announcements of results, cannot be justified as the same was "not supportable by law". It also declared that all those who have obtained minimum marks prescribed in the notification have cleared NET and appropriate follow up action be taken to issue certificates to them within one month. By changing the standards at the final stage and just before declaration of results, "it can be definitely be seen that it affected adversely the expectations of a large number of candidates", the court said. As per the new norms, candidates in general category have to score aggregate of 65 per cent in all three NET papers to be eligible for college and university lectureship while OBC candidates need to score 60 per cent and SC/ST candidates 55 per cent. Previous norms had stipulated that the general category had to get 40 per cent in Paper I and Paper II and 50 per cent in Paper III. In case of OBC, SC/ST students, the qualifying percentage was 35, 35, 45 and 35, 35, 40 in all three papers. The declaration of new norms had been opposed by students who appeared in the examination in June this year. Re: [AI] requesting how to make flow chart in microsoft office
Dear pranav, Pragmatically it is possible to draw flow chart objects, remember I had discussed the binary encoding that we got. Also the user need not know any of the stuff how internally it's happening. It's a simple application that we are also using in the graphic display where one needs to select the auto shape give size parameters and its inserted in a doc file. I shall send you a sample vb program immediately, you do check it. Re: [AI] Reading PDF document online
Once the accessibility is set up for normal pdf documents, it should not be a problem. Anyway, while using pdf for the first time with jaws, you have to activate Use recommended settings and skip setup button. In the next screen you will find another checkbox for Always use the settings from the Reading Preferences (Do not show this dialog again). Check it and activate the Start button in the next control. This is the normal routine i follow without going through setting up all the options in the wizard.
