was in seventh standard.was brilliant student.wanted to become engineer and

year 1998.become paralytic.also had lost hearing.everything came back except 
eyesight.my mother recorded cassettes.she even accompanied me to m.s 
university.today i have completed m.b.a and joined business.i use mobile phone, 
laptop and i pod with talking software.even i want to go abroad for further 
training.according to me, all these achievements would have been impossible 
without strong determination.hardwork always pays.not hard work but donkey hard 
work.i use to do speed skating for 30 kms. on road whereas in competition i had 
to run three kms.in rainy season i use to do 4000 skippings to maintain my 
stamina.hardwork and determination always pays.if i had not struggled and 
 work hard, i would not have been able to complete m.b.a in hr and 
marketing.some friends would have told me that you are just nineth pass whereas 
they all are engineers and m.b.a.i just want to highlight on power of 
mind.impossible is nothing.what is required is strong will power or

  "I was told several times that I should do so since I am eligible. But
  I wanted the examination score to reflect only my work," said Akhila
  B.S., a student who scored 1,191 marks, just nine short of the perfect
  1,200 score for the higher secondary examinations.

  The 18-year-old seemed mildly confused by all the attention she had
  been getting since Tuesday, when the results were announced.

  Her score, 99.25 per cent, becomes a more admirable feat considering
  the fact that she is physically challenged.

  A student of St. Mary's Higher Secondary School, Pattom, Akhila lost
  her right arm when she was in kindergarten.

  But that should have no bearing on the rest of my life, she says.

  "I was very young when the accident happened, so it's not like I had

  There is a conviction that shines through her personality and is even
  reflected in the choices she has made about her higher studies.

  She wants to become a civil servant and to get there, she felt that

  "For one, I love Physics and I enjoy studying it. But more
  importantly, I felt it was important to have a base in science for it

Happy to see that you are willing to take the first step. Do write a
letter mentioning the Guidelines For Indian Government Websites
(GIGW), 2009. Though in my personal view, they only apply to Central
Government websites as they were adopted by Department of
Administrative And Public Reforms, and as of now there is no binding
obligation of the states under these guidelines to make their
webssites friendly.

Having said that, legally they can be made accountable under UNCRPD
and depending on the situation under the PWD Act also.

  Yesterday, my memory card and pendrive got infected by virus and I'm not able 
to access the contents.  There's only one file in the memory caard, USBC. And 
the pendrive also has only one file called 15GB.  It is apparently a shortcut.  
But it is not opening.  There's a message coming that the dll file is missing.

  Both the memory card and the pendrive contain data collected over the last 
four years.  These include images, videos, softwares, books and text files in 
English, Telugu and Hindi on more than hundred topics.

  In view of the above, please share your expertise on how to access the 
content contained in the two USB storage media.

 Yesterday, my memory card and pendrive got infected by virus and I'm not 
able to access the contents.  There's only one file in the memory caard, 
USBC. And the pendrive also has only one file called 15GB.  It is apparently 
a shortcut.  But it is not opening.  There's a message coming that the dll 
file is missing.


 Both the memory card and the pendrive contain data collected over the last 
four years.  These include images, videos, softwares, books and text files 
in English, Telugu and Hindi on more than hundred topics.


 In view of the above, please share your expertise on how to access the 
content contained in the two USB storage media.

  Well, after receiving a good response to my previous posting, I have
  been started using JAWS with a Dongle.

  Now it made me write again, on my Windows XP machine where I use
  JAWS13, JAWS is making a noise something like repeating the option
  again after reading the things which I cannot tolerate in any way.
  Despite quitting, uninstalling and reinstalling JAWS, the problem is
  still persisting.

  My fellow members are requested to point out the real reason and
  solution for this issue. I hope it would be answered at the earliest
  as always.

  Note: Though it is licensed up to 15, I wanted to explore with JAWS13
  for number of reasons.

  Despite quitting, uninstalling and reinstalling JAWS, the problem is
  still persisting.

I didnt try the vote share since I got  the information  from the 
constituency. I am able to read how much each of the candidates-I think 19 
of them from my constituency have got.  The vote share of the country will 
be very important tonight when we get aggregate data since counting is still 
on.
On another note can some one help- this website shows me the time when it is 
updated. The results seem to be far behind the information that I have 
received from the AIR alert that I have received on the mobile. What is the 
correct position?  Both AIR and Election Commission websites can be trusted 
I guess.

Yes I have been checking the time but the information on the AIR alert was 
atleast 20 minutes earlier than the Election Commission's website and there 
was a marked difference. AIR stated that the BJP had won 107 seats while 20 
minutes later when I checked the website it showed only half the number.

Anyway I am so grateful that after so many years I have so much information.
I must also complain that Reliance which is my new cell phone service 
provider has been a total spoil sport with  "no service" for the last few 
days.

One of my VI friend wish to make a plan to go outside with a female
partner like Matura or banglore or puri or any other city.
They both are adult and have desire.
But my friend has some apprehensions as below. As he has never hold
stick in his hands.

He says, how he will bourd the plane from the entry point of the
airport because the taxi will leave them before the entry point.
Suppose he higher a taxi for reaching hotel and for visiting other
places but how to manage the fooding from restaurant and other  things
like moving in beach or temple.

But I think now we all are not interested to listen the above as we
are human of new world, who judges each and every statement with an
argument.
I also think if BJP is a communal party because of Gujarat rights then
congress is far more communal because of sick, Assam, Bhagalpoore etc
rights.

What do u think, is this the end of castism?

Is Mayawati finished, who only shouts for Dalits or Mulayam/Azam Khan
who only favors Muslims?

What do u think about dynastic politics?
Rahul was only qualified by his dynasty.
Ajeet Singh and his son got defeat.
This doesn't mean if Amir has the qualities then he should not flourish.

I don't want to favor or disregard any one.
I just like Modi because he doesn't favor a particular.
He doesn't say from his mouth that cargil fight was won by one
particular religion.
He never says for my sister that someone can misbehave with her and he
will save the culprit.

Personally I don't know any one.
These are my personal adjudication.

finished. congress did many many mistakes and that uproar against
ruling party favoured modi in many places.
lets see whether he can withstand the huge expectation this time.
he has got single majority and a good chance to do good or bad for
entire country without any opstacle.
lets hope he does good poverty alleviation steps soon.

Yes I have been checking the time but the information on the AIR alert was 
atleast 20 minutes earlier than the Election Commission's website and 
there was a marked difference. AIR stated that the BJP had won 107 seats 
while 20 minutes later when I checked the website it showed only half the 
number.
Anyway I am so grateful that after so many years I have so much 
information.
I must also complain that Reliance which is my new cell phone service 
provider has been a total spoil sport with  "no service" for the last few 
days.

But the rise of Modi indeed signifies that now development is more
important than caste/religion/VIP figure.
Also, for a long time, BJP has been defamed by refering it as "safron
party", but such a huge victory is not possible without having support
of people from all walks of life.

Though not at very far off places but still I have gone on a lot of
outings with VI as well as sighted female friends of mine.
Your safety depends on your own.
You have attendants to guide you through check- in for flights.
And keep a single thing in mind: You are the esteemed customer for
each and every restaurant/ Hotel.
Therefore, it is their duty to make you comfortable.
It is only possible if you ask them clearly as to what you want them to do.
For Example: I even ask service guys to read out the menu for me along
with Prices! 
For tourist places, you have professional guides.
Last but not the least: Ask him not to forget his dearest life partner
(a white cane) on each and every tour!!!

One of my VI friend wish to make a plan to go outside with a female
partner like Matura or banglore or puri or any other city.
They both are adult and have desire.
But my friend has some apprehensions as below. As he has never hold

Modi was fully encountered by all parties with the stroke of communal.
But I think now we all are not interested to listen the above as we
are human of new world, who judges each and every statement with an
argument.
I also think if BJP is a communal party because of Gujarat rights then
congress is far more communal because of sick, Assam, Bhagalpoore etc
rights.

What do u think, is this the end of castism?

Is Mayawati finished, who only shouts for Dalits or Mulayam/Azam Khan
who only favors Muslims?

What do u think about dynastic politics?
Rahul was only qualified by his dynasty.
Ajeet Singh and his son got defeat.
This doesn't mean if Amir has the qualities then he should not flourish.

I don't want to favor or disregard any one.
I just like Modi because he doesn't favor a particular.
He doesn't say from his mouth that cargil fight was won by one
particular religion.
He never says for my sister that someone can misbehave with her and he
will save the culprit.

Personally I don't know any one.
These are my personal adjudication.

*3 week Short Term Training on Accessibility Testing from 16th June to 4th
July 2014*


This is an initiative from Mitra Jyothi and S A P Labs team towards giving
quality training on Accessibility Testing for visually impaired people.
Accessibility Testing is the latest upcoming career choice with a growing
demand for trained Accessibility Testers in the IT Industry. The course has
been designed by industry experts – S A P Labs, with more focus on
practicals and SAP trainers themselves will conduct this training. This
will increase the employment opportunities, and betterment of existing job.


*Course Content*

1) What is software testing in general?

2) Accessibility
a) What is Accessibility?
b) Why is Accessibility test important?
 -Legal importance
 -Section 508 and WCAG2.0
 -Ageing population

3) What are assistive Technologies?
4) What are the different existing Accessibility guidelines
- WCAG guidelines/ Section508 guidelines

5) How is accessibility testing done?

6) Practical orientation through exercise: Accessibility Testing of
Different websites and software applications

7) Test for final assessment.

Computers with

a.   Windows 7 operating system and

b.  Office 2007,

c.   Jaws / NVDA


*Course Details:-*

Duration : 3 Weeks

Timings   : 9:30 AM-6:00 PM, Monday-Saturday

Dates   : Monday, 16th June 2014 – Friday, 4th July 2014.

Seats  : 12 to 15

Premise  : Mitra Jyothi


*Who are eligible?*

Any person with visual impairment, whose educational qualification is
minimum Graduate, and having good communication in English.


*Joining Procedure:*

Candidates have to attend the evaluation test before the training starts,
Candidates will be considered as eligible only if they pass the evaluation
tests.

Evaluation can also be done online or over the phone for out station
candidates.


*Interested candidates should send in their resumes to *

for the evaluation at the earliest.*


Once they pass the evaluation test:

1. Candidates have to register in Mitra Jyothi for the course; along
photograph with relevant documents

2. Refundable deposit, Rs. 500.

candidates: Rs. 1500.

4. Fees for local candidates: Rs. 750.

But the rise of Modi indeed signifies that now development is more
important than caste/religion/VIP figure.
Also, for a long time, BJP has been defamed by refering it as "safron
party", but such a huge victory is not possible without having support
of people from all walks of life.

As far as both AccessIndia and Mobile.AI list is concerned, filtering mails 
is the correct method to go with. We have unique [AI] and [Mobile.AI] in the 
subject line This  is unique We have this especially for filtering mails by 
using filters. Therefore , make use of these keywords.

Using the Subject line is not the best way.
Rather, copy accessindia@accessindia.org.in and

i really thanks to all of the panelist who gave there valuable time to
us. and reporters r done very good work,. so heart core thanks to all.
one more thing  i am really glad to share with u all, today the
listeners list is  also really unacceptable, its very very high so
thanks to all listeners who bair us 4 hours without moving from there
computer or mobile.
If we didn’t work together like a swarm of bees, we would have never
