I have expected a discussion in this forum regarding the word divyang.
Yes A K nathji,
In my view,
this word should be reflected in official documents, policies and
prompt administrative actions as well.
Let see what will happen in the tenure of this government.
Hope for the best

Re: [AI] quary regarding free charge

2015-12-27 Thread Austin Pinto
no.
it is not free charge problem.
it is your opperator problem.
what hapends is free charge contacts your bank or credit card co to
check if you have credit amount or the money to do the recharge.
then the money is shone as diducted from bank or a credit charge from the co.
and sent to the network opperator and they process it.
now the network operator gives priority for processing recharges from
there own sites so freecharge or paytm is maid to wate.
so when ever you are recharging try to do it before 10. am
i have sometimes waited for more then 24hrs for a successfull charge.
airtel is the network operator as of what i know that makes you wait a lot.
or u cancel your recharge and let the money go into your freecharge
vollett and then try to recharge again from there

2015-12-27 Thread Kakarla Nageswaraiah
I don't know the right word for that but I mean insulting with words
like kurudan (Tamil), Guddi (Telugu), etc. Insulting may also include
acts like deriding the way we do things. Hope it's clear now.

[AI] Name-calling: is it possible to penalise under any law?

2015-12-27 Thread Kakarla Nageswaraiah
Dear all,

I often come across incidents of name-calling the blind by the sighted
and my friends want to know whether it is possible to penalise such
sighted persons who resort to name-calling thereby hurting the blind.
As far as I know, there's no such provision in the PWD Act. Learned
experts may kindly enlighten on the matter.

Thanks and regards.

Re: [AI] Name-calling: is it possible to penalise under any law?

2015-12-27 Thread Asudani, Rajesh
I had strongly pressed for such penal provisions in the new bill.
However, we don't know in which avtar the new bill will be passed now.

Even I would like to penalize our dear PM under any such provision, if it were
there, for calling us divyang and saying publicly that god gifts compensatory
abilities if he snatches away one.

Not a bad bargain, na?

Were It true, why not, Mr. PM go in for such a trade-off yourself and ask all
government babus to follow suit?

I don't know the right word for that but I mean insulting with words
like kurudan (Tamil), Guddi (Telugu), etc. Insulting may also include
acts like deriding the way we do things. Hope it's clear now.
Regards.
