Recently I bought Asus Laptop. It does not also have CD drive. I
therefore had to buy an external CD drive. Since stress now is on
making Laptops light weight, I presume cd drive is not included as
part of the machine.

Disney•Pixar's New Audio Description Technology
is Here

Audio Description has been around for decades,
but even if you’re blind, you might not use it. Why? Ironically, often the
problem with audio description is not really the audio description. The problem
is in how AD is delivered — or rather, not delivered.

Starting today, that’s changing. With a new,
major update to the Disney Movies Anywhere app, you can now take control of
your own personal audio descriptive track, on your own smartphone, on your own
terms.

This brand new, free, mobile audio description
from Disney Movies Anywhere is smart and user-friendly. It listens and syncs
automatically with their films (starting with the sixteen classic Disney•Pixar
theatrical titles), including today’s home release of The Good Dinosaur.

Disney•Pixar is leading the way for accessible
films; and soon, we at the LightHouse are confident that this mobile Audio
Description experience will be possible for all movies, everywhere. Read more
about this exciting release on our blog, where you can also get detailed
instructions on how to use the app and where to send feedback. To infinity, and
beyond!

[AI] Any ways to make parking slot identification accessible?

2016-04-04 Thread Amar Jain
Hi All,

I am clueless about solutions on this front, so greatful for any
inputs. Our parking has slots, designated number wise. The plain
surface has nothing which can give me an indication whether my driver
has parked in the correct slot or not. Wrong parking can lead to
clamping or fine.

Any solutions which I can take forward?

 a
need to head that way. I do not believe that blind students must not be

2016-04-04 Thread kailas amolik
Dear all,

I am using windows 7 with jaws 13. These days neither jaws nor nvda is reading

slide. What settings perhaps do I have to make? Please guide.

Thanks,

Kailas
