Re: [AI] queery regarding daisy 3.0 text

2016-04-12 Thread Kotian, H P
Hi
It does not happen like that. If the TTS active is Lekha, it should read hindi
content.
Check out if the Hindi text is in Unicode, besides, also try reading using
Espeak TTS. You need to install Espeak before that for sure.
Harish.

Re: [AI] enquiry regarding exemption of reporting duty hours

2016-04-12 Thread vivek doddamani
it is true in 6th CPC recommendation there was proposal for disabled
employees in relaxation of duty hours but while implementing 6th CPC
this was rejected, there is no such order in DOPT or in Government of
idnia, many disabled organisation opposed such relaxation even I am
also of opinion that such relaxation should be given, if it is so many
of our colleagues look us or treat us in different manner or they
start discrimination, so please do not accept such relaxation of duty
hours.

[AI] Letter From AICB Students.

2016-04-12 Thread bala9119
Note: Names are kept confidential for security reasons.

letter from AICB students on today's incidentThis is to inform
everyone that AICB (JL Kaul) is doing the exploitation of it's
students and staff.
I'll write whole incidence step by step:
Some students(Anurag, Shalini Esthar etc) got selected for government
job, but they didn't got their joining till now and it's expected that
joining will start after 3-4 months.
these students are Trainees of I.T. batch.
Mr. Kaul started scolding and threatenning those students to leave
AICB without any reason. when we asked, he gave excuse that "these
students have got the job, now why will they enjoy our hostel?"
Firstly, every student has a very good family and finantial condition,
why will they need this stupid AICB hostel? where wardens, staff
always disrespect girls along with Kaul?
secondly, those students requested Kaul that "sir, we haven't got our
joining yet, please let us complete our course. we've spended our 8-9
months, now only 3-4 months are remaining, please let's complete our
course. if we've done any mistake, then forgive us"
but Kaul didn't listen and misbehaved with them very badly.
then, whole I.T. batch decided to go to Mr. Kaul and request him for
those students(anurag, shalini etc) to let them complete their course
but he didn't listened anything and said to girls that"tera anurag se
chakkar chal raha hai kya. mai janta hu k tum ladkiya avaragardi
karti ho"
and this is not the first time when he said this thing to girls, he
always insults girls and points on their character. he always says" tu
kiske sath sone gayi thi, tera kiske sath chakkar chal raha hai, tu
apne saiyan ke sath avaragardi karti hai, tu characterless hai" and
many, many bad words.
What right he has to point anyone's characters? how can he insult
every girl? We already know kaul's character very well,(hidden
secrets)
so, then he slapped the girls along with anurag. how he can slap a girl?
even then, students decided to continue requesting him, but he didn't
listened and dragged everyone out of his office.
by this unity he got afraid and didn't say anything after in working
time, because he knew that students will unite again.
he called the warden after 5 PM and threttened her that "ye students
yaha ni dikhne chahiye kal nahi to tumhari job khattam"
Jab kaul khud kuc ni kar saka aur unity se dar gaya to warden ki
naukri ka sahara liya.
Very well done Mr. Kaul?
even then students again planned to request apology from him, because
everyone wishes to get his/her course complete if he/she has invested
8-9 months in it.
So, In the morning all I.T. Batch again went to him and apologised,
again he didn't listened anything and dragged everyone out along with
slapping and saying bad words to some girls.
Finally studentss decided to protest about it. when they went outside
gate Kaul called police and threttened anurag and shalini that I'll
spoil your future by writing a false chartsheet about you. you won't
be able to join any vacancy and your career will be ruined. in this
policemen also supported Kaul instead of students. he has setting with
policemens.
Morover he threttened and forcefully took their signature on ("I'm
leaving this course myself" is this fare? now he and his stafff like
vikas chauhan, ram, etc are threatenning and scolding students, trying
to break the unity of students.
not only this, He always thretts his staff, don't give them leaves
even for urgent tasks etc. some days back, a staff of AICB named
"hemant pande" died unfortunately, so, some staff members along with
Mr. Gaurav went Itava for his funeral etc, but Kaul cut the CL of
staff and said him"vo pande tera ristedar tha kya?" No humanity Mr.
kaul? is it important that someone should be our relative before
helping?
We need the help of all of you friends. This NGO is not doing any
social wellfare, they only need money, I'll update this story more in
sometime. We need the support of everyone. Please support us, Kaul has
thrown Anurag out of AICB forcefully, he is also misbehaving with
girls.
Please come with us and join hands, we'll not leave this NGO, we'll
not let this cheating, exploitation and frod to be happen. now he's
pressurising the students that don't try to protest. otherwise I'll
ruin your police investigation for your job. Kaul is openly saying
that policemens are in my confidence we'll all will spoil your life.
please friends support us.

cheers.

[AI] Mystery surrounds death of blind student inside NIVH campus

http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/dehradun/Mystery-surrounds-death-of-blind-student-inside-NIVH-campus/articleshow/51783607.cms

 | TNN | Apr 11, 2016, 09.47 PM IST
DEHRADUN: Mystery surrounds the death of a visually challenged student
of the Model School for the Visually Handicapped, who died after
falling off a building inside the campus of the National Institute for
Visually Handicapped (NIVH). Was it an accident, or a suicide? Tripen
Singh, a blind 16-year-old class XI student of the school, fell from
the first floor of a hostel building inside the NIVH premises late on
Friday evening. He was rushed to the hospital and declared dead on
Saturday.

.
On Monday, the usually chirpy students of the institute were
unusually silent attending the condolence prayer for their friend and
school mate in the first morning assembly after the incident.
School authorities say that it was an "unfortunate accident", and a
three-member enquiry committee has been constituted which will submit
its report within this week. However, the chances of suicide also are
not being ruled out. When a TOI team visited the spot, few students
alleged that Singh was often teased about his bladder incontinence due
to which he was forced to make regular visits to the washroom.
Besides, he was also concerned that in the past few years, he was
losing the partial vision he initially had when he had joined the
school four-five years back. However, few students also claimed that
he probably was only jumping from one side of the railing to the other
and had misjudged the distance. Umed Singh Negi, Tripen's uncle,
meanwhile said that it was in all likelihood an accident and not a
suicide as "Tripen was a very positive young boy." "The entire
incident was very unfortunate and I just hope that school authorities
are more vigilant so that so that an accident like this never gets
repeated."

.

.
Reacting to the incident, Kamalbir Singh Jaggi, the school's
principal, said, "The student never showed any suicidal tendencies and
also did not have any issues to consult the school psychologist or
counsellor. In fact, on the day when this incident happened, he
actively participated in the sports class too and played cricket with
friends. Nevertheless, we will be doing everything possible to make
the school even more safer for students."
.

.
Adding to this, he said, "Till date no such incident has happened in
the school and since it is primarily a boarding school, the students
are emotionally close to all their teachers and wardens, so it is
unlikely that Tripen had an emotional breakdown but yes the matter is
still being probed."

.

.
Meanwhile, Tripen's parents, who had come to Dehradun learning about
their son's accident, did not file any complaint with the police and
after doing their son's last rites, left for Rudraprayag on Sunday.

On the Windows pC you can you use FSReader, DDReader+ or AMIS.
EasyReader is the best option but it needs to be purchased.

Hello,
I don't read Daisy books on PC. so no idea about that. as far as Android
platform is concerned, there are many options like Voice dream Reader, Easy
Daisy Reader and Go read by Bookshare. the first one is paid, go read is not
updated and as I mentioned in my earlier mail "Easy Daisy Reader' is the
