Hi all,
I would like to express my thanks to all the people that have taken the time
so far to be a part of the research, and also the ones that have agreed to do
it.
I am still looking for a few more people and would welcome anyone who can
spare a few minutes, 20 minutes at the max.
If you have already participated, but know other blind visually impaired
people that might be interested, do me a favor and pass the information about
the research along, my very first mail on this topic already has my contact
details.
Hope you are having a good day,

Subject: [AI] Accessible coins!

As per directions from the Delhi HC the GOI and RBI are in the process of
developing a new set of coins with particular emphasis of the coins being
accessible. These new coins are likely to be launched towards the end of 2019.
I have seen the prototypes and I can say that each coin is distinct and easy to
identify. This I believe is the first step towards having accessible coins and
currency notes.

2019-01-13 Thread Mohib Anwar Rafay
Samsung level U is another option with duel connectivity. You can go
for Logitech H600 also. But I will not recommend you to use bluetooth
headphone with jaws, given its latency. For that you can go for
Logitech H600 which comes with 2.4ghz transmittor having no latency.

[AI] Toggling microphone mute/unmute on iPhone

2019-01-13 Thread Pranay Gadodia
Hi All!
On an iPhone or with its wired headset is there a faster way to mute/unmute
oneself during a call?

The regular way I know is to wake-up the screen, unlock using the
fingerprint, find and double tap on the 'Hide' button and then find and
double tap on the 'Mute' button. These steps are little time consuming when
one is on team conference calls and wants to quickly toggle between unmuting
to speak thereafter muting again.

Earlier when I was using Moto G 4+, the button on its wired headset worked
on a call as mute/unmute, but the iPhone wired headset button
connects/disconnects the call.

Any solution?

Thanks,
Pranay
