[AI] Some problem in online ticket booking through IRCTC App
Dear Friends, Since few days, I have been facing some problems while booking online tickets in IRCTC App. When I book ticket for 3 persons (2 in concession and 1 general), while pressing review details, the message appears as “card for 3rd person invalid”. Hence I am not able to book the ticket. I fail to understand what exactly is happening. Once I uninstalled and installed the app again. But the problem still persists. Anybody is having any idea to solve it? If so, kindly throw some light on it. Looking forward to hear from you. Thanks in anticipation, Anil Celebrating Louis birthday Jan. 4th. Re: [AI] Anup Roy reports for business standard today: RBI comes up with mobile app 'mani' to help visually impaired identify notes
Hi all please start using the app and keep sending your feedback. The loopholes may be taken care of in future while bringing more updates in the App. The Central Bank is trying its level best to mitigate the difficulty faced by blind users while identifying the Rs currency post demonitisation in the country. The Bank had already informed the Bombay High Court that given the huge country-size and note circulation its not possible to change the size and shape of the Rs denominations so frequently. Court had also maintained that blind people are able to better recognising objects through touch. Lets hope in the long run touch and feel factor may be considered while altering size and shape. Note: above views are my personal. On 1/3/20, zameer pasha wrote: > Ya that is true. after having smartphone also it is very tricky to use > in busy places. I think it's a good initiative but it's not proper solution until we will get physical solution because most of the visually impaired people belongs to poor family and every visually impaired person can't afford smart phone and technology is a beautiful weapon for us but it can't be replace natural things On Fri 3 Jan, 2020, 8:15 AM George Abraham, wrote: > With due respect to the Govt./RBI, this is certainly a very short term > solution for the blind elite. > > This is no solution for the majority. Re: [AI] Anup Roy reports for business standard today: RBI comes up with mobile app 'mani' to help visually impaired identify notes
The app seems a good short term solution.. I am able to identify currency notes. However, in the long run, we have to demand notes of differing sizes. Though while using the app, one would become faster with practice, I can't fathom using it while paying the Autowala or at a crowded shop counter. It is called "They will see". I hope you all enjoy reading it. Blurs of lights and shadows they see, But these eyes, they can’t really see, The beauty of creation they know not, As eternal darkness has eclipsed their being So these eyes, will they ever see? The splendor of majestic morning… the secrets of nocturnal nights? Will they see the blues of water and reds of roses? Or will they return this way to the dust of the earth? These eyes, they will see! Images will bud to life someday, As someone out there will use them for me, What a precious gift they will be! And then these eyes, they will see!
