[AI] Some problem in online ticket booking through IRCTC App

2020-01-02 Thread Anil Kumar
Dear Friends,

Since few days, I have been facing some problems while booking online
tickets in IRCTC App. When I book ticket for 3 persons (2 in
concession and 1 general), while pressing review details, the message
appears as “card for 3rd person invalid”. Hence I am not able to book
the ticket. I fail to understand what exactly is happening. Once I
uninstalled and installed the app again. But the problem still
persists. Anybody is having any idea to solve it? If so, kindly throw
some light on it. Looking forward to hear from you.

Thanks in anticipation,

Anil

Re: [AI] Anup Roy reports for business standard today: RBI comes up with mobile app 'mani' to help visually impaired identify notes

2020-01-02 Thread avinash shahi
Hi all
please start using the app and keep sending your feedback. The
loopholes may be taken care of in future while bringing more updates
in the App. The Central Bank is trying its level best to mitigate the
difficulty faced by blind users while identifying the Rs currency post
demonitisation in the country. The Bank had already informed the
Bombay High Court that given the huge country-size and note
circulation its not possible to change the size and shape of the Rs
denominations so frequently. Court had also maintained that blind
people are able to better recognising objects through touch. Lets hope
in the long run touch and feel factor may be considered while altering
size and shape.
Note: above views are my personal.

different denomination notes. It’s working decently fine, except
needs more practice to keep the notes correctly forecast in front
 of the rare camera.
Also for me once it said Rs.50 note when I had placed a Rs.500 note.
Hence it requires a few more trials with different denomination
notes, both knew as well as Old notes.
Also in my iPhone, the iPhone gets heated up quite fast while
 using the app.
It seems it is using the battery power very much.

For notes I will need practise. I am also waiting for others to

Those who are representing the disabled in various court cases are requested
not to accept this as a closure. The government must be asked to give a clear

substancial differences in size and colour. Nothing less than that will work

I think it's a good initiative but it's not proper solution until we will
get physical solution because most of the visually impaired people belongs
to poor family and every visually impaired person can't afford smart phone

With due respect to the Govt./RBI, this is certainly a very short term solution
for the blind elite.

This is no solution for the majority. Besides, I am wondering how this app

Subject: [AI] Cell Colour identification in Excel 2016

Dear All

Please help me ASAP with guidance about how to identify cell colour in Excel
2016 with JAWS 2019 - both background and text colour recognition is
required.
I've done some conditional formatting where I needed to specify some colours
for the cells meeting the conditions. Now I can't confirm whether I could
get it done correctly or not.

Thanks,

Sudeshna Bhattacharya

2020-01-02 Thread turab chimthanawala
The app seems a good short term solution..
I am able to identify currency notes.
However, in the long run, we have to demand notes of differing sizes.
Though while using the app, one would become faster with practice, I
can't fathom using it while paying the Autowala or at a crowded shop
counter.

Subject: [AI] Poem on pledging my eyes for donation

Hi friends,

I had written this poem a while ago regarding pledging my eyes for donation..
It is called "They will see". I hope you all enjoy reading it.

Blurs of lights and shadows they see,
But these eyes, they can’t really see,
The beauty of creation they know not,
As eternal darkness has eclipsed their being

So these eyes, will they ever see?
The splendor of majestic morning… the secrets of nocturnal nights?
Will they see the blues of water and reds of roses?
Or will they return this way to the dust of the earth?

These eyes, they will see!
Images will bud to life someday,
As someone out there will use them for me, What a precious gift they will be!

And then these eyes, they will see!
Flora and fauna they will fathom and appreciate, They will no more be vacant,
As one day, these eyes, they will see!

Aishwarya.
