Hi Rahul,

In Kindle app, if we use any screen reader, by default, text to speech
mode will be enabled. So you can stop automatic reading by touching
the screen. then you can navigate the screen with screen reader.
Voiceover and google talkback very much support kindle app.

for more details visit. www.applevis.com

Thank you.

Having personally taken part in the survey, I would urge our list members to
take part in this study as this is quite an interesting analysis which Gouri

If someone can acknowledge my email-that would be excellent. I am tired of

Subject: [AI] Impact of social support on feelings of independence in
persons with visual impairments

Dear All,

My name is Gouri Bhuyan. I am a new member of the AccessIndia mailing list.
I am a student pursuing my M.A. in Psychology from the University of Mumbai,
Department of Applied Psychology. As a part of my course curriculum, I am
required to do a research study. Given that I, myself, am a person with low
vision, I decided to base my research on others with visual impairments.
As persons with disabilities we either receive minimal support, or on the
other extreme, receive excessive support that we may or may not require.
Often, this causes us to feel more "disabled" or dependent than we actually
are. Therefore, through this study, I wish to examine how our perception of
the support we receive, and our belief in our own abilities, affects our
feelings of independence.

This study will not take more than 20 minutes. Participants must be between
the ages of 18 and 45, both inclusive. I am sending the link of my Google
survey form in this email. I sincerely request as many of you as possible to
take 20 minutes out of your day to answer this survey form because it will
take my research a long way.

This is the link to the survey form:

I am greatly looking forward to getting lots of responses.

Thank you so much.
Kind Regards,
Gouri Bhuyan

[AI] Impact of social support on feelings of independence in persons with visual impairments

2020-04-02 Thread Gouri Bhuyan
Dear All,

My name is Gouri Bhuyan. I am a new member of the AccessIndia mailing list.
I am a student pursuing my M.A. in Psychology from the University of
Mumbai, Department of Applied Psychology. As a part of my course
curriculum, I am required to do a research study. Given that I, myself, am
a person with low vision, I decided to base my research on others with
visual impairments.

I sincerely request as many of you as possible
to take 20 minutes out of your day to answer this survey form because it
will take my research a long way.

This is the link to the survey form:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfndf1P6YhL5Lty1gC6zmDs7RpX4MLoGI36nNg4VzvuSKSpkQ/viewform?usp=sf_link

I am greatly looking forward to getting lots of responses.

Thank you so much.
Kind Regards,
Gouri Bhuyan

Re: [AI] Job Opening for Visually Impaired

2020-04-02 Thread sindhu bharani chithanoori
Very interesting. Wish you all the best. And how about qualifications of
the candidate? Should the person be a graduate?
Or if it will be enough if a person has good knowledge about the assistive
technology and an undergraduate with good communication skills?

Thanks and regards,
Sindhu Bharani.

Re: [AI] ms outlook

2020-04-02 Thread PRAMIT BHARGAVA
Hi Hitesh,

The reason this happens is because When you use 2-Step Verification, some
apps or devices may be blocked from accessing your Google Account.
App Passwords are a way to let the blocked app or device access your Google
Account. To do that follow the below steps:
1. Login to your google account
2. Under Security select App passwords
Now simply generate the password to be used with your Outlook account and
use this newly generated password to login with Outlook.

Hope this helps

Pramit
