Hi Mohit, As per your usage, the best configuration that you can get is: 1. RAM: 8 GB or above. Higher the RAM lesser will be the lag while using multiple programs at once. 2. SSD: 500 GB or above (As much of the memory is used by the Windows also you need more space for installing and keeping stuff on your system) 3. Processor: Core i5 is sufficient enough and the latest one is 10th Generation. Make sure that the computer that you'll purchase can accommodate more RAM if required, this will keep you going for a longer time. I did get a call from them and afterconfirming my registration details, They did tell me the time when delivery slots would open. In the meantime I had already added to cart the items I required and also put enough money in the Bigbasket wallet. However, when I tried to grab a delivery slot, it was gone. Later on the Bigbasket representative called me again I informed that I could not get any delivery slot. She did the needful and made a slot available from her end. I shall get my delivery today noon. If it was not for the priority effort, I would again fail yesterday. The system works for sure for us. As per my own experience, ABBYY fine reader, kurzweil and other accessibility softwares are memory intensive programmes. If we have good processor and ssd harddisk, we dont face the issue of slow processing hanging the machine. I am using i7 processor since last 3years and never faced any issue of hanging and freezing the system. I am using lenovo thinkpad x270 with 256 ssd, i7 processor, 8gb ram and win 10 64bit. Its an expensive machine though, around 1.25l. hi All, this endeavour has been a long time in the making. i have been perhaps waiting for the right opportunity to share my personal experiences, and experiments in the kitchen as a blind person, to motivate and encourage many others to get comfortable around their kitchens. somehow, a casual discussion with Shireen Iraani and help from two talented, and enthusiastic volunteers-Mayank Sharma, and Aparna, and this YouTube channel called Rasoi Ke Rahasya was born. it is still new, and has four episodes uploaded, as it happens. the idea is to gently nudge the newcomer and the hesitant person to learn to get their feet wet, one step a time. from learning to understand the space, organize the kitchen, to perform more hands-on tasks, this channel will have it all. i am recording extensively researched, and descriptive audio content that is easy to understand, and follow. glossaries of English names for spices, and vegetables in times of ordering online is something i see as essential- and hence is being done as well. i hope that this information reaches many families of persons with vision impairment, who hesitate and are not sure how to get their wards started. as for the end user themselves, i can assure you an interesting and educational journey. Hello Friends, The issue which I had mentioned in the trail mail have been resolved. Actually, I did a factory reset of my router and then reconfigured the same.
