[AI] Ebook of Taslima Nasrin's Lajja without scanning errors
Hello list members, As the subject line indicates, I am searching an ebook of Taslima Nasrin's novel 'Lajja' in English, which is free of any scanning errors. So far, all the soft copies which I have come across have too many errors, which makes them unreliable and unreadable. Even the one on Sugamya Pustakalaya uploaded by RSVI Lucknow is of very bad quality. If anybody has a decent copy of this novel, please do share. Hi all, Greetings! Can someone here direct me to the judgement/order which asks LIC to treat blind persons equally while providing insurance policy to them? And, is there any such direction for the PNB MedLife in specific? A friend of mine is facing difficulties while availing policy. If there are some orders from IRDA in this regard, that also could be of use. I was looking on Eyeway website but could not locate the appropriate judgement. the one I found has no text and neither it could be downloaded. It was from Delhi high court from 2014. Re: [AI] AI NVDA issue with Excell
Hi, Is the excel you are working on having some images or other embedded files in some cell? It might happen that when you navigate to such cells the NVDA will stop working. Only way then would be to close the excel and open again, even JAWS cannot work with embedded objects in excel. I have seen NVDA stopping in between when I am working specially on Office apps, it resumes in a few seconds everytime. But I think that issue is due to rules on my Office laptop as I have never experienced such things on my personal laptop. "When your vacancies are fluctuating, how many people will you call for the mains and interview? If you have power to call any number of candidates for mains and interviews without declaring the actual vacancies, it is known as arbitrariness," the bench told the Centre and UPSC, asking the commission to explain how it decides who qualifies for the mains and interview. The bench asked them to explain a difference of eight in the vacancies for the disabled and the number advertised in the exam notification. The petitioner claimed the number should be 32, but the exam notice listed 24. TNN -- This email has been checked for viruses by AVG. https://www.avg.com -- Disclaimer: 1. Special judge R N Pandhare observed that despite being handicapped he committed a "shameful act of touching her body when the victim was the age of his daughter only". Hence, he deserved no leniency and must also pay Rs20,000 as compensation to the child, the court ordered. The man was accused in December 2015 for offences under sections 4, 8, 12 and 18 of Pocso Act and also of kidnapping and sexual harassment and molestation under Indian Penal Code (IPC). But the court found that the offence of kidnapping was not made out. The court believed the testimony of the child, corroborated by her mother and prompt lodging of an FIR.
