I can understand the state of mind and the frustration in you are going 
through.



A small piece of advise if you are ok to recieve it. I think it is 
necessary to fight our own battle rather depending on others to do it 
for you. Sure enough NGO's are there to help you and they will do their 
bit if you approach them. You can't depend entirely to fight for each 
and everything for you. It is nnecessary to ask ourselves what have we 
done on our side except complaining at AccessIndia. Members have given 
some pointers and what have you done about it. Sure enough you can find 
the commissioner address for Rajastan by yourself? You can also write a 
mail to them. You can also write to the authority that they have not 
provided for reservation which they should have done.


At least take these steps. It is important to help ourselves.

Thought of sharing my experience on the Sony smart tv which was bought recently 
to my home.

Model: Sony BRAVIA VU2.

Display Size108 cm (43 inch)

Screen Type   LED

HD Technology & Resolution  Ultra HD (4K), 3840 x 2160

SeriesX75

The tv comes with the 2 different screen readers such as talkback and Sony 
screen reader.

Where we can assign the shortcut to enable the accessibility quickly without 
looking for sighted assistance.

Performance and accessibility:

1.  No options to arrange the I-cons.
2.  Lag with talkback.
3.  Sony screen reader read only the interactive elements such as ok, 
cancel buttons but, it wont read the dialogue content.
4.  There is no proper navigation provided for apps like youtube prime and 
other apps.

 

Final thoughts:

Instead spending too much money, getting the digital/android set up box will be 
the best option.

Hello Aman,
One possibility is without opening the group chat you can clear all the 
contents of the group.
The process to do it is:
Go to the chat tab, go to that particular group chat. Without opening the chat, 
swipe with one finger up until you hear more. Double Double tap and then swipe 
right until clear, double tap on clear, and delete the entire chat.
This would delete all the chats in that particular group.
Caution this will delete all the media text messages present in that particular 
chat group without deleting the group.  Hope you had taken a back up of all 
those jobs somewhere.
You can try this as a last option, before uninstalling ‎WhatsApp and 
reinstalling it.

[AI] Problem with rapido app in ios

Hi list users,
As the subject line indicates, I am unable to properly operate rapido on ios 15.
I booked my first bike ride this morning, and it was a smooth
experience; but after the trip got over, it is asking me feedback, and
when I am tapping on "submit and proceed", nothing is happening.
It is also showing the option of "how was your ride with (driver's
name)", but again nothing is happening on tapping at this option.
If anyone is aware about any work around for this problem, please respond.

80U Deduction in case of a person with disability.

[(1) In computing the total income of an individual, being a resident, 
who, at any time during the previous year, is certified by the medical 
authority


to be a person with disability, there shall be allowed a deduction of a 
sum of seventy-five thousand rupees:


Provided that where such individual is a person with severe disability, 
the provisions of this sub-section shall have effect as if for the words 
"seventy-five


thousand rupees", the words "one hundred and twenty-five thousand 
rupees" had been substituted.


(2) Every individual claiming a deduction under this section shall 
furnish a copy of the certificate issued by the medical authority in the 
form and manner,


as may be prescribed

along with the return of income under

section 139,

in respect of the assessment year for which the deduction is claimed :

Provided that where the condition of disability requires reassessment of 
its extent after a period stipulated in the aforesaid certificate, no 
deduction


under this section shall be allowed for any assessment year relating to 
any previous year beginning after the expiry of the previous year during 
which


the aforesaid certificate of disability had expired, unless a new 
certificate is obtained from the medical authority in the form and 
manner, as may be


prescribed

and a copy thereof is furnished along with the return of income under

section 139.

Explanation.—For the purposes of this section,—

(a)  "disability" shall have the meaning assigned to it in clause (i) of 
section 2 of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, 
Protection of


Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995 (1 of 1996), and includes 
"autism", "cerebral palsy" and "multiple disabilities" referred to in 
clauses (a), (c)


and (h) of section 2 of the National Trust for Welfare of Persons with 
Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation and Multiple Disabilities 
Act, 1999 (44


of 1999);

(b)  "medical authority" means the medical authority as referred to in 
clause (p) of section 2 of the Persons with Disabilities (Equal 
Opportunities, Protection


of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995 (1 of 1996), or such other 
medical authority as may, by notification, be specified by the Central 
Government


for certifying "autism", "cerebral palsy", "multiple disabilities", 
"person with disability" and "severe disability" referred to in clauses

with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Mental Retardation and Multiple

[AI] Problem regarding online MBA in Chandigarh University

Hi all,

I am facing a problem regarding denial of my admission in Chandigarh
University for online MBA after my registration is done.
I paid them the money as well through an online portal it has been sent for
approval.
Before I took registration itself I explained that I am a person with
blindness.
But now they are asking me to write an email to help desk for cancelling my
admission because of my disability.
I answer the all of the questions that they ask me regarding taking exam
studying and So on.
That calling me to ask this but they are not writing me any email saying
that my application got rejected because of this.
If anyone who studied like this can reach out to me.
