Hello,

When you are preparing the text, you have to make sure that excel can 
understand the column and row structure. The best way is to maintain tab 
stops between cells and line breaks between lines.


Use tab key after data for each cell. When data for one row is completed, 
press enter for the new line. Then again type data for the xecond row using 
tab key after each cell. Then again press enter key for a new line when the 
data entry for the second line is completed.


Follow this pattern until data entry is finished.

Then save the file with .csv or .xls, or .txt  extension.

You may open .csv file with excel directly. If you open this xls file with 
excel, you wil receive a warning because this file does not contain any 
formatting atrribute. Anyway, you may press the yes option to open it.


If the file is saved as a text file with .txt, you may open it from excel 
using the file/open dialogue. In that case you have to select the sixth 
option from the files of type drop down menu. This menu  is for .prn, .csv 
and .txt files.


Here excel will initiate a wizard, where you can accept all the default 
options to open this type of files.

to save the file, when you open the save as page, there would be.txt 
extension. you have to delete that extension and put the extension.XLSX, 
which is the extension of MS Excel. after that click on save button and open 
the saved file. Now you will see that, all the text which you typed in the 
different different lines, it will be appeared as Excel columns like you 
have opened Excel files. That’s the method You may try, I used it Long 
longLong long ago during the training, so not sure this time it will work or

[Mission Accessibility]

Hi all,
As we had shared in our previous mail, the Vidhi Centre for Legal
Policy and iStem are developing a digital accessibility rating index.
This index will evaluate the accessibility of the top ten most widely
used iOS and Android apps based on a marking scheme. Mission
Accessibility is also supporting this work.
To this end, we are organising a virtual consultation this Saturday,
27th September 2022 from 4:30 to 6:00pm, on Zoom.
The primary object of the consultation shall be to obtain suggestions
from the community on:
1. Constituting a working group to evaluate the applications;

You will find towards the bottom a download link for pdf format of the 
concession certificate. You have to obtain a concession certificate in this 
format from any government hospital.


However, government hospitals in West Bengal are not registered with this 
portal. So we cannot apply online. We can only apply off line to the nearest

what is "apply online" then?

NV Access is pleased to announce that version 2022.2.1 of NVDA, the free
screen reader for Microsoft Windows, is now available for download. This is
a security update which fixes 1 security issue present in older versions of
NVDA.
note: this is a security update, the “What’s new” text has not been
translated for this release. Users running NVDA in languages other than
English, accessing the “What’s new” text from the Help menu will show the
latest version as 2022.2. The correct current version can always be found
in the “About NVDA” dialog, available from the Help menu.
