[AI] Book Announcement: Gilligaddu by Chitra Mudgal

2023-03-30 Thread NAB Delhi Helpline
(Chitra
Mudgal)

RE: [AI] AI: facing problems with issuing cancelled cheque book facility

2023-03-30 Thread Rahul Gambhir
Hello Pavan,

You are right, that As per the RBI direction you should be provided with the
cheque book facility, however, banks still hesitate to offer the service as
there still exist challenges regarding cheque clearance on thumb impression as
the new CTS system does not have the capability of doing so. More over RBI, IBA
directions have been reiterated several times, however, none of the banks have
focused on designing SOPs for third party cheque clearances on thumb impression
so far.
What I understand is you need the cheque book on urgent basis, and you need a
canceled cheque for submitting to the salary section in your company. This
requirement can be fulfilled by the bank verified statement as an interim
solution.
Feel free to connect offline if you require any assistance in opening account
in Union Bank of India, we will facilitate the account opening process and will
get the cheque book issued as well.

Subject: [AI] AI: facing problems with issuing cancelled cheque book facility

guise working in banking sector, I am writing to bring to your attention an
issue I have been facing with regards to obtaining a cancelled cheque book
facility from my bank. I hold an account with the Indian Bank, and I have been
repeatedly denied this facility despite it being mandatory for my salary. I am
visually impaired and have been told by the bank employees that it could be
misused. They have instead insisted that a passbook is sufficient for a salary
account.
As a visually impaired person, I have been greatly inconvenienced by this
denial of service, especially as I have now relocated to a different city and
require this facility urgently. I would like to bring to your attention that
according to RBI guidelines, banks are obligated to provide visually impaired
persons with the same services as they would to any other person without
discrimination. Ref: The RBI, vide circular DBOD. No. Leg
BC.91/09.07.005/2007-08 dated 4th June 2008.
I kindly request your assistance in this matter and also ask if you could
suggest any government bank that issues cheque books with new accounts quickly.
Please note that I do not wish to engage in legal battles as I have less time
and find it to be expensive against persons from lower income groups.
I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to hearing from you
soon.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
Sincerely,
Kallem Pavan,

[AI] Urgent Response Needed: How to raise a request to include "Visual impairment" category in NIC recruitment

2023-03-30 Thread Rejin Jose k.
Dear Accessindians,
I am posting here after a long time. Hope everybody is doing great.
I am writing this email because I am stuck with a job application at the
National Informatics center(NIC).
A job advertisement was published for scientific and engineering posts at
NIC. Candidates with engineering degree or MCA can apply. I do have B.sc
computer science and MCA as my qualification.
So I was trying to apply for the position called "Scientist B". But in the
first step of the application, the select box to choose type of disability
does not include the Visually impaired category. I studied the notification
and it does not say any exclusion for visual impairment. By the way
reservation is not mentioned for the visually impaired category. But I am
interested in going through the recruitment process even if we do not have
a reservation.
Whenever I look in advertisements for engineering or scientific positions I
see the same exclusion. At the same time, visually impaired people are
working in similar positions in private organizations. But still the
Government organizations are not ready to include visually impaired
candidates into such positions.
I would like to know all of your thoughts and how to make inclusion in such
cases. Especially in the advertisement which I mentioned. The last date for
application is April 4. I have already written an email to the email ID
mentioned in the notification. Copying that email here as well.

Sub: Requesting resolution for an issue in online application submission
process to the post of Scientist – 'B', advt No. NIELIT/NIC/2023/1

Candidate ID:
Position Applying for: Scientist B
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am one of the applicants in the above mentioned position. I am a
candidate with a disability: Visually impaired(100%)
When I am trying to proceed after creating an account, I do not get an
option to choose visual impairment as my disability. I am attaching the
screenshot of the same with this email.

This is my dream job. I kindly request your support to resolve this issue
as soon as possible. Because the last date for this application is April 4,
2023.

I understand that the "Visually Impaired" category does not have a
reservation for the mentioned post. But I would like to participate in the
examination and if I get eligible, further in the interview as well on
merit basis.

I humbly request a quick response/resolution on this issue.

Sincerely,
Rejin Jose K
