Press Alt E for the Edit menu. Press Y for Accessibility. Press Enter on Change
Reading Options. Arrow down to the Raw Print Screen option and press enter.
This should do it. Remember though now you are reading as if it is plain text,
no formatting with tables Etc. But sometimes this works even better when tables
read badly in PDF.

What I hate most about PDF and how it gets displayed in virtual cursor or
browse mode, is that most often documents are not formatted properly for
accessibility. In those cases, reading cells of a table using table reading
commands will read an entire column or row when focused on a single cell. This
makes understanding a table almost impossible.

The only way around this I have found is to change reading options in PDF
Reader to raw print screen. It takes away all the form controls, tables and
other HTML elements, but this way it is easier to read using normal text
navigation through table data and make sense of what’s going on.

Re: [AI] query related to flight concession

2023-04-20 Thread pavan kallem
hi Sudhakar Anna,
I hope this email finds you well. I am writing in response to your
recent query regarding the concession for flights. I wanted to inform
you that Air India used to provide concessions for people with
disabilities before it was privatized. Unfortunately, they no longer
offer this service.
However, I wanted to clarify that you can claim for assistance
throughout your journey in any flight as per the Supreme Court
guidelines. This means that airlines are obligated to provide
assistance to passengers with disabilities, including wheelchair
assistance, priority boarding, and assistance with luggage.
I hope this information answers your question and clarifies any doubts
you may have had. If you have any further queries or require more
information, please feel free to contact me offline. I would be more
than happy to assist you.
Thank you for reaching out here. .

Re: [AI] Guidance requested about PPF account maturity

2023-04-20 Thread Harshit Lohia
Hi,
The Bank officer is absolutely correct. Whenever you open PPF account,
the deemed date of opening the account is treated as 1st April of that
year. Hence, the account matures after completing 15 financial year
from that date, i.e., on 31st March of the relevant year.

Yes Pinkesh very true,
Even I am also feeling same, I stay in Mathura uttar pradesh while
applying today I found they have added Uttar pradesh in their list of
state but after selecting my state there is no option of Mathura
because in my city railway has north centralway zone, I am not sure
why this Indian railway is creating different different portal for
each zone or devision, they should have 1 single portal and they
should route our application to the respective zone or devision for
process.

[AI] Differently-abled state staff to get 4% quota in promotions

2023-04-20 Thread Kanchan Pamnani
Differently-abled state staff to get 4% quota in promotions TIMES NEWS
NETWORK Mumbai : The state cabinet on Wednesday cleared a proposal to
implement 4% reservation in promotions for differentlyabled employees in the
state on the lines of the Centre's policy. Officials said that as per the
order of the central government issued in May 2022, reservation in
promotions will be implemented in the state for the differentlyabled
employees from Group D to Group A lower level. In May last year, the central
government had said that it will grant reservations in promotion to persons
with benchmark disabilities in compliance with Supreme Court (SC) directions
and as per the provisions of section 34 of the Rights of Persons with
Disabilities Act, 2016. The state government has now followed the central
government's decision. The SC had in 2020, stated that the reservation for
persons with disabilities was applicable to promotions as well, and not just
recruitment. "In case of a vacancy, 4% of the posts will be reserved for
persons with disabilities, according to different types of disabilities.
There will bereservation in promotion for persons with disabilities in those
cadres in which the proportion of recruitment through direct service is not
more than 75%. All other government decisions are being ratified in this
regard," an official said. Meanwhile, chief minister Eknath Shinde also
launched SAMAVESH - an initiative for making Mumbai more compassionate and
friendly for persons with disabilities - both physical and neurodiverse.
This will be done in partnership with the NGO Project Mumbai and the BMC.
Shinde said the focus on Mumbai is the first phase of Maharashtra becoming
inclusive for these people. "In partnership with NGO Project Mumbai, our
effort is to ensure that all public facilities, including roads, beaches,
and government buildings, will be made inclusive for persons with
disabilities. It is not just Samavesh but Sarva Samavesh," Shinde said.
According to the National Statistical Office (NSO), Maharashtra is ranked
second with 11. 05% for the highest number of persons with disabilities.
