blind should not be left out from studying anything that he/she deserves

Please note that where there are chances of gaining high profits in a
short span of time, there are equally high chances of losing the
hard-earned money in that same short span of time and stock trading is such
a mechanism.

I personally believe that stock trading is a form of gambling. However, one

Kindly note that stock trading and investment in stocks are not the same.

Re: [AI] an urgent help required from those who know trading on this list

2023-08-13 Thread Ajay Minocha
You have to understand the larger picture, the advertised course is
something equivalent to rapid weight loss program or English speaking
course.
We will be giving them and indirect tag of legitimacy by engaging with them
so I think an educated human being should stay away from such things
It is just an opinion so anyone is free to exercise their own judgement

Re: [AI] Invitation to Showcase Your Skills at NAAI Abilympics!

2023-08-13 Thread Ritesh Agarwal
Hi All!

Can anyone clarify the difference between the categories "Data Processing
basic (Excel)" and "Data processing advance (access)", especially why the
word 'Excel' and 'Access' are in brackets. Is access a tool? What is the
format of the competition in these two categories?

Further, it would be of great help if someone can also share the
rewards/benefits of participating/winning this competition at each level.

Regards
Ritesh

Re: [AI] Job advertisement for female computer trainer:

2023-08-13 Thread Ritesh Agarwal
Hi Yamuna and everyone!

I could not find in the post that the female teacher would teach only
female students. The introduction and primary mission and vision states
about persons with VI or VI students.

Further, if there would have been such a post wherein only male candidates
are eligible for recruitment then the entire community would consider that
as misogynistic even though the person might need to teach only male
students.

For the avoidance of doubt, I am not against the upliftment of females in
the society.

Regards
Ritesh

hi Ajay,
it would be very much helpful if you talk to her through the given number
and understand and update.
My concern is that when it is said for persons with disabilities, the blind
should not be excluded.
Moreover, the course is free and there is no harm in gaining some knowledge.

Re: [AI] an urgent help required from those who know trading on this list

2023-08-13 Thread Ajay Minocha
My views as a finance professional, technical analysis holds no real
value specially when it comes to small-time retail traders like us
(vision impairment being irrelevant as one can substitute the chart
visuals through the underlying data i.e. moving averages etc.).
There is an entire industry running in billions of rupees whose only
objective is to cheat retail investors with these catchy "Financial
Independence" dreams. There are couple of ways they do so, 1.
derivative trading and 2. technical analysis or a combination of both.
Disclaimer: Trading can be injurious for your wealth.
Invest wisely.

Cheers,
Ajay

Re: [AI] Job advertisement for female computer trainer:

2023-08-13 Thread Yamuna Jivana dasa (Yogan Khandoo)
Hi Anirudh,
The post requests female teachers to teach female students. It did not say male
teachers cannot teach male students as a further elaboration. Therefore it
cannot be classified as discrimination because male teachers and male students
are not excluded from participating in education by their request, only that it
be done within gender boundaries.

My understanding is that the school is probably for female students and if we
understand the reason why a school is designated this way is obviously to
protect the culture of avoiding loose mingling between male and female in a
general sense. Our Indian culture in a traditional sense is very aware of
chastity, integrity and protection against permiscuous conduct in its society.
This is in fact commendable and is worthy of our appreciation.

Hope this clarifies my position on this.

[AI] an urgent help required from those who know trading on this list

2023-08-13 Thread anirudh rao
dear mates,

a few days ago, I received a message which I am posting here.

Hello everyone

Do you dream about financial freedom?

Do you want to know about financial literacy and stock market ?

Well, Trademagic Educare Pvt Ltd. is offering you a 10 days complete
program in technical analysis in stock market.

You will learn the basics of stock market and how you can earn a decent
profits from it.

*Amazing thing is, it is absolutely Free!*

This course is specially designed for persons with disability, *free of
cost*.

Come on, hurry up and confirm if interested.

For further details contact *Neenu Kewlani on 90827 71716*

Apparently, the message is for all the PWBD candidates including the blind.

When I called the concerned person, for my dismay, she said that this is
not for the blind as they are not aware how the blind would be able to
trade.

Interpreting charts and candlesticks is a problem for the blind according
to her.

She is a person with disability herself and wants to know if the blind can
trade or even understand the technicalities so that they can train many
blind in the field.

She has also confirmed her interest in speaking to the people who are blind
and trade successfully.

I was not able to answer her queries as I am a trading aspirant myself and
not a skilled trader.

However, I said to her that there are people with blindness who trade and I
have heard of such and shall try to get some people to talk to her on the
specifics.

My request to the people who understand trading in this mailing list is to
call the given number and explain the technicalities so that the door for
the training is open for the blind candidates too.

The contact number is given below again for your convenience.

Please call only through whatsapp as her number is always unreachable
through regular calls.

[AI] query on android sony tv.

2023-08-13 Thread techsavi.shankar
Friends, greetings.

Recently I have purchased the Soni bravia 32 inch android tv and its running
on android 11 with talkback 8.0.

My question is is there an option to upgrade to the latest version of the
android accessibility suite? If yes then what is the wayout?

I don't get the update button clicking the open talkback from the playstore,
page.
