Hello friends, All India Confederation of the Blind (AICB) provides another wonderful opportunity to those visually impaired persons who are preparing for various jobs or even professionals who are keen to gain working knowledge or learn new skills for making themselves more competitive and efficient in their respective fields. AICB will conduct one-month-training during the month of April, 2023 on weekends to make students familiar with various job opportunities available in the corporate sector and will also provide computer and communication skill training and domain exposure. These sectors would be : 1. IT and Telecom 2. Human Resource and Consultancy 3. Travel and Hospitality 4. Media and Voiceover 5. Financial Sectors including Insurance, Stock market and Banking. The training would be conducted for the entire day on Saturdays and Sundays for the month of April, 2023. So the training dates would be 1st - 2nd April, 8th - 9th April, 15th - 16th April, 22nd - 23rd April and 29th - 30th April, 2023. The timing would be from 10 am to 5 pm. It will be in offline mode at AICB. Each day of the training would be so structured, as to provide approximately two hours for computers, two hours for communication and two hours of lectures by professionals from various corporates. The training is free of cost and lunch, tea etcetera will also be provided on the days of the training. However, there is no residential facility available apart from students already staying in AICB. the seats are limited, so the selection would be on a first come first serve basis with preference being given to final year students or those who have already completed their studies and are looking for jobs.
