 good evening accessindians!

first of all, I would like to sincerely thank each one of you for
keeping me motivated in tuff time of not getting a placement despite
of fairly good academics and repetitively getting rejected from
placement process for no good reason or with some excuse from
 recruiters
as you all told me to keep trying, and do not loos hope, I did that
and finally i've been placed as brand executive, social media and web
interaction manager with tanishq division, titan industries!

I just wanted to share this good news with you all, it means a lot to
me, after struggling for 4 months, chasing recruiters and getting
ignored, finally I got the profile of my choice with an esteemed
 brand.

I will be staying in bangalore old airport rode, and may require a 1
BHK flat or a room for accommodation in that area, so if anybody can
help me in this regard please drop me an email on my ID as i'm not
monitoring email responses to the list closely.
also, if you have any questions, or if i can be of any help, please
drop me an email and I will try my best to do so.

 off to celebrations!

Re: [AI] Socialising

2011-11-27 Thread Namita Agarwal
Hi rahul
Though I have studied as a sighted person being sensitive I always
chose friends who would always be by my side through thick and thin.
Maybe your friends do not know how to handle you alone you can ask
them that what is better and why and how you can go about with them
when you are at move.
You say that they do not call you for parties or other activities but
do you also call them or shy away from them.
Try and see within yourself, where you are weak and improve and then
observe the difference.
hey just add as many friends you can cash now in this list too.
i usually go for friends or people who do not sympithise with me,
instead i go for those who treat me equal.
be my friend & think optimisticaly ...

regards namita.

 letter1 on carriage of persons.pdf

 2

 No.: 21-1/2010-AED

 Date: 13th Jun 2011

 To

The CEOs of all Scheduled Domestic Airlines

 Subject: Carriage of incapacitated passengers.

 Sir,

DGCA has issued Civil Aviation Requirement (CAR) Section 3, Series M,
 Part
>>>
 I
 on

Carriage by Air of Persons with Disability and/or Persons with Reduced
 Mobility. In

accordance with the provisions of the above mentioned CAR, no airline
 shall
 refuse to

carry persons with disability or persons with reduced mobility. Airlines
 are
 also required to

formulate a detailed procedure for carriage of disabled persons or
 persons
 with reduced

mobility and publish the same on their website.

It has been observed that information available on the website of
 scheduled

domestic airlines in this regard is very sketchy and incomplete.
 Further,
 reports have been

received in this office that one of the scheduled domestic airlines has
 denied boarding to

the blind passenger. It may be stated that blind passengers fall in the
 category of

incapacitated passengers who do not require any medical clearance or
 special
 forms and

only require special assistance at the airport or in
 embarking/disembarking.

In view of the above, all the airlines are directed to formulate a
 detailed
 policy for

carriage of disabled persons or persons with reduced mobility including
 blind and publish the

same on their respective website. All the airlines are also directed to
 make
 the same available

at different airports and also sensitize their employees in this regard.

Non-compliance of the above instructions will be viewed very seriously.

 Yours faithfully,

 264

 (Lalit Gupta)

 Deputy Director General

For Director General of Civil Aviation

Then tabb it says the files in the folder.
Hit enter on save you are done.

in screen shot jaws will not read the pasted matter.
the engineers use this to rectify a problem that a computer may have
so the company engineer's can solve by seeing the screen position.

Re: [AI] (no subject)

2011-05-05 Thread Namita Agarwal
no according to what i have learnt print screen acts as a clipboard.
if one has window 7 there is a facility of one note which is like ms
word document.
if this document is open and one takes 2 or 3 screen shots it wil get
automatically copied on the one note which is handy if the
electricity goes the data is not lost even if not pasted.
the learned people can test it.

Re: [AI] query for creating folder in gmail account

2010-12-28 Thread Namita Agarwal
Hi,
I suppose that you're using the gmail in basic html view.
Go to gmail settings and search a list that contains 5 items. in this
list search a link that says creat a lable or lable. click on this,
and search the edit box which will ask you to edit the name of a
lable. give the desired lable name and hit enter on creat a lable
button.
now go to your inbox and creat link list and press the letter from
which the name of the lable starts that you've created.
now if you want to send the particular mail into that lable, you've to
creat a filter
to create filter one has to make a link list and go to filter and fill
the form fields

regards namita.

Re: [AI] Fw: DVD of a Bollywood film with Audio Description in Hindi available worldwide for the first time.

2010-04-25 Thread Namita Agarwal
I have had an experience of watching this movie on cable ,mr khan is
narrating in the movie, the dialogue is quite clear to understand .
Only 2 places I had to ask what is happening .for those who can’t hear
lip reading is clearly visible or which dialogue is not seen is shown
by action.
Very good script.
