[AI] problem with talks

2009-10-26 Thread shikher goyal
hei all
i am facing problem with talks in N73 mobile from a long time.
sometimes when i press talks key, instead of speaking 'talks', it says
'edit' which should be spoken after pressing twice.
and another thing, during that no menu, contact and other functions of
mobile does work.
only i could able to dial numbers by dialing, not from contact list
and could pick up the incoming calls.
i've just purchased my n73 handset and using talks version 3.5.

2009-10-11 Thread shikher goyal
respected members
hope all are nice!

i have a little querey regarding scanned table from book.
while scanning tables from a book, few times the tables are scanned
and shown as sections with column breaks depending upon the how many
columns in the table instead of its proper format.
and it is creating problem in understanding.
so is there any way for that kind of tables to convert into its original format.

any suggestion would be appreciated!

Re: [AI] Urgent: suggestion for a digital voice recorder

2009-07-08 Thread shikher goyal
sorry for re posting but i forgot one and most important thing.
built-in speaker is very important because listening via ear phone is
not possible everytime.
so i want to know, do transcend and olympus have built in speaker? i
read review of transcend 610 model on prateek's web site and there is
mentioned that no built in speaker in this model.
so you are requested to tell me about any other model of transcend
which has built in speaker as it is very important for me.

shikhar

Re: [AI] GPS based navigation Device

2009-06-15 Thread shikher goyal
thanks Sir
i checked it, its quiet good.
when i entered start point and destination point, it shows only road map i.e.
it shows that after going defined KMS you've to take turn from that
highway to that highway and so on. it doesn't show the name of
location/place after defined KMS, you have to take turn.
it's only in plain html mode of google maps while in graphic
interface, it shows place name also after defined KMS .

someone may have info about this.
any suggestion would be appreciated.

[AI] regarding deleting inbox mails not drafts

2009-05-24 Thread shikher goyal
hei to all
as subject line clears that i want to know how to delete all my inbox mails
not mails which is in draft or another folder.
i tried in firefox with standard view, there are options for selecting all,
read, unread, starred, unstarred.
ok with unread mails to delete them.
but when i select all option, it's naturally to select that it will select
all mails and when i select only read mails, it also selects the draft mails
as i've read them.
so is there any way to select only all my inbox mails and no draft mails.

Re: [AI] how to use avast scanning software effectively?

2009-05-24 Thread shikher goyal
hei
not sure about move/repair but i think it will first repair the
infected file and if couldn't repair then will move it.
delete will simply delet the infected file.
move to chess will move infected file to a folder of avast from where
virus cannot spread.
no process will do nothing andits not recommended.

as my concern, you can either select move to chess or delete to keep
your computer protected from virus.

 Friends,
As a computer user, I have many CD's which in times, I find it difficult
to locate the exact cd I need in a given instance. Is there any way to
put Braille labels to these cd's? Please let me know if there are other
alternatives to organise cd's. It is very difficult to catalog cd's.
 I
need your suggestions because I spent hours to identify a badly needed
 cd.
