Re: [AI] Announcing the launch of Accessible Menu reading app - Good Food Talks

2016-02-02 Thread Prashant Verma
Dear all,
We mentioned in the FAQ post that currently restaurants from delhi NCr,
bangalore and Mumbai only have been added.
We are in the process of adding restaurants from 10 more cities.
Till that time, the restaurants listed may be too far from you.

I suggest that you can still make use of the chain restaurant menus because
they are largely the same across cities. Some of these are McDonald, KFC,
Dominos, Café Coffee Day, Pizza hut etc.

Thanks.

Now I see something strange. To verify Pranav's question, I just tried
"Restaurants near me" on web from Hyderabad and results showed are 498 KMs
from me which is Bangalore.

I'm using Safari on Mac. I tried Chrome on Mac and FF on Mac too and results
are same. I have even tried with Safari on iPhone too and same results.

Best,

Dear Avinash,
Given below is list of few of the popular restaurants in GFT at present. You
can use the Browse link on home page to see more. In our study, users wanted
to know what is around them rather then what is available in other cities,
hence this design.

Good Food Talks includes menus of McDonalds, Dominos Pizza, KFC, Pizza Hut,
Café Coffee Day, Barbeque Nation, Haldiram, Sagar Ratna, ChaiPoint,
Dunkin's Doughnuts, Mainland China, Nagarjuna, Nirulas, Pind Balluchi,
Rajdhani, Yo China and many more. GFT currently has menus of all types of
restaurants – from fine dining to fast food and even famous stree food
joints.

Its a good initiative. Delhi-NCR plus Bangalore and Mumbai have been
covered. I feel for the better convenience and comfort of the website
visotors, the list of restaurants should be displayed under the city heading.
For example, Link Mumbai, Link DelhiNCR and the link Bangalore.

Re: [AI] Announcing the launch of Accessible Menu reading app - Good Food Talks

2016-01-28 Thread Pranav Lal
Dear Prashant,

I am confused by the website. I want a list of restaurants near my location. I
have agreed to share my location but nothing appears to happen. I have tried
this with Firefox, Internet Explorer and Safari which is running on my iPhone.

We need to be able to search by location.
Pranav

Its a good initiative. Delhi-NCR plus Bangalore and Mumbai have been
covered. I feel for the better convenience and comfort of the website
visotors, the list of restaurants should be displayed under the city
heading. For example, Link Mumbai, Link DelhiNCR and the link
Bangalore.

[AI] Announcing the launch of Accessible Menu reading app - Good Food Talks

2016-01-27 Thread Prashant Verma
Dear all,

I am very excited and happy that all the hard work put in is seeing the
light of the day. Our Good Food Talks app is getting launched tomorrow with
the support of Radio Mirchi, Barbeque Nation and Saksham. Many thanks to our
partners Eyeway, XRCVC and Mitrajyothi.

Promo video: http://bit.ly/1JH0lSC

India's first accessible restaurant finder and menu reading app is here. It
aims to make eating out more dignified, sociable and enjoyable for everyone
including persons with visual impairments, weak eyesight and dyslexia.

Anyone who has trouble reading the restaurant menu will cherish Good Food
Talks. Using the accessibility features on the phone or tablet, one can
control the font size, change the colours, or have the menus spoken out
loud.

Just download Good Food Talks from Play Store on your Android devices and
enjoy. On Apple iOS devices or the desktop/laptop computer open
www.goodfoodtalks.in and you will be able to check out the menus, address,
phone number opening timings and even get walking directions to favourite
restaurants near you.

GoodFoodTalks has been brought to India by Prashant Ranjan Verma and is
supported by Saksham and Radio Mirchi.

About us: http://goodfoodtalks.in/about-us/

How to use the app: http://bit.ly/1Kcc9fr
