Re: [AI] Excel 2007 Problem

2012-05-19 Thread zoher
Your problem has nothing to do with the excel 2007. It is the matter of some
easy setting to be performed with your jaws. Do the following things and
your key strokes will start working.

1. Open any excel sheet.

2. Now press insert+8 from your alpha numeric key pad.

3. Your jaws key board manager will open and by default you will be on
excel.

4. Press tab to enter in to it.

5. Press alphabet c till you hear, column first cell from top.

6. If any key stoke assign with it then you will hear it. Otherwise it
will read nun.

7. Here you can change the key strokes or creat new key strokes.

8. Press alt key and press right arrow to go to action menu

9. Hit enter on add key strocke and press the key combination you want
to set and press tab till you hear ok and hit enter

10. Do the same thing for column forth from top, column second from top
and column third from top.

Similarly press alphabet r till you here row cell first from left and
follow the above steps to assign key strokes for row cell fourth from left,
row second cell from left and row third cell from left

After completing this task quickly type set and press down arrow till you
hear set column tital to rows and follow the above steps.

Now press the down arrow till you hear set row tital to columns . and do the
necessary changes and press function key f4 to close the jaws key board
manager. .

Hi Surinder,

ALT+1 through 4 and CTRL+1 through 4 are table layered commands in the
recent versions of JAWS. Press INSERT+SPACEBAR followed by T and then
these keystrokes to read desired cells. The keyboard manager lists
these keystrokes as well.

CTRL+ALT+INSERT+C and CTRL+ALT+INSERT+R for setting column and row
titles respectively work well. Check settings under the Title
Reading node in the Quick Settings dialog box for Excel. Quick
Settings dialog box comes up by pressing INSERT+V. The Title Reading
node is located under Excel Settings Workbook, Worksheet and
Region Settings.

Hope it helps.
