Dear all, A few months ago, Mr. Solomon had written a mail with regard to an organization for blind and visually impaired academicians. This mail was about International Network of Researchers with Vision Impairment and Their Allies (INOVA). This organization is dedicated to enhancing opportunities in science for people with vision impairment. About us page on Their website reads “The International Network of Researchers with Vision Impairment and their Allies (INOVA) is a network of, and for, biomedical researchers who are blind or visually impaired. Our mission is to support career development, engage allies and champions, and enhance the accessibility and inclusion of biomedical sciences.” I am not sure whether Mr. Solomon was referring to this organization in his mail on this thread. As far as I know, there are no WhatsApp groups existing for blind and visually impaired academicians. For interested folks, there are mail lists of people working in specific fields such as disability studies but a general group or organizations for blind academicians does not exist as far as I know.
