[AI] Highlight all Paytm accessibility issues
Hi all, Paytm has filed a reply in CCPD claiming that they are accessible for persons with disabilities. I cannot handle it alone as the app is so huge. Request each one of you to: 1. Check the app as of today (download the latest version); 2. Send me every issue that you encounter; 3. Email me all of it by September 23, 2022. Regards, Amar Jain -- Disclaimer: 1. Re: [AI] Highlight all Paytm accessibility issues
The general interface of Paytm maybe ok, but the banking segment of it is just horrible. You cannot even edit/modify your own profile. While finalising the payment on its UPI platform, it is very difficult to figure out as to which bank is selected for your payment. Overall, while certain things can surely be manageable, it can never ever be branded as an accessible app on Android platform. Re: [AI] Highlight all Paytm accessibility issues
Hi Amar, The login screen of PayTm app on iPhone is completely accessible. Since my registered number on PayTm is currently on another mobile, I could not complete the login process as the app has implemented device binding. Can you please confirm if device binding works with eSIM also as my registered number has to be converted into eSIM for use on iPhone? Re: [AI] Highlight all Paytm accessibility issues
hi amar, they should be punished for filing missleading information. anyways, some of the things i remember quickly sharing here: icons on the home screen are parcially accessible, many of the offer bannors controls are assigned numaric values that makes impossible for us to identify the control, you can not share the payment receit with others easyly, buttons are not correctly labeled, while you are going to pay postpayed bills, you can not read payment gateway to enter OTP, . so in a nutshell its useable but not fully accessible in android. Re: [AI] Highlight all Paytm accessibility issues
Nicely put entire Paytm accessibility keeping Android perspective in limited words. Really great! Vande Mataram - Original Message - From: "Sunil Sangtani." Re: [AI] Highlight all Paytm accessibility issues
I like to know whether I am the only one facing the following issue or everyone else? when I open paytm menu by double tapping on view your paytm profile button, I find many options like paytm profile, cashback and offers, help and so on. I am able to open any submenu there, but not able to click the items in those submenus by double tapping. for example, I can double tap on the item "profile settings, profile, addresses, security and privacy" but after double tapping on the item security and privacy, it wont work.
