Thanks sir for clerification. So, If Nuance still holds the ownership to Eloquence, and is charging for the same, there is no question for it to be available free of cost. Even if you mod it and change the name to something else, the voice and other functionalities remain same and would come under the violation of copyright laws. Since NVDA is open sourse software & crack software can't work with this one. Though this belongs to another company but its not a crack one. previously many of us were using mobile speak, it was also from Code Factory instead of Talks software. Hi sir, As Harish ji mentioned, the NVDA 2019.3.1 has moved to Pythen 3 making it impossible to use addons developed for earlier versions of NVDA. Hence, for the time being, either use ESpeak or Windows core voice which has better quality than ESpeak. The fix for the same is coming out very soon. [AI] Irritant with NVDA voice
All Pl find below a post from George which did not get on the list. I am also responding with inline. Harish. Quoting: Just yesterday, I believe the latest update from NVDA was released. I downloaded the same and installed. I was surprise when the voice/speech had dramatically dropped in quality. No idea how I can restore the earlier voice quality. Presently it is quite an irritant to use NVDA. Any way out? It is because most of the plugins have to be updated. You may change the TTS to Windows Core voice for the present until there is clarity and fix for the add-ons.
