Re: [AI] Issue with HDFC bank web portal
Hi guys, If someone can: 1. Consolidate the issues; 2. Clearly explain the problems and propose technical solutions, I am happy to take up or happy to suggest right channels if someone wants to take lead. I do not advise legal challenge at this moment as applicability of guidelines to private establishments is being reviewed by the relevant stakeholders. Asif bhaiya-let’s chat offline on this-will call you around 7th. Thanks. RE: [AI] Issue with HDFC bank web portal
Hi all, Use firefox and NVDA for HDFC bank. I tried the site with google chrome and NVDA and can duplicate the non-reading of combo boxes. The answer is to exit forms mode upon each press of the arrow keys and to then up arrow to read the current selection and then to return to the combo box and repeat the above procedure. Hi Asif, Yes, I have been experiencing some new accessibility challenges with HDFC net banking of late. I have been using it for many years now and have found the experience to be generally good until recently. I was unable to read the values of the form fields. Only way I could read them was to get out of the forms mode and keep pressing 'f' to navigate through the form fields after entering the details. I even faced an issue with the login processwhile entering the password. At times JAWS would not read '*' in the password field, which causes the confusion if it is being entered or if a character is being deleted with backspace. This did not happen consistently though. [AI] Issue with HDFC bank web portal
Dear all, I am using JAWS 20 with Chrome and trying to navigate HDFC portal. JAWS does not seem to speak 1. while trying to choose list of beneficiary during fund transfer. 2. Would not read the data point while adding beneficiary. 3. While using drop down for making selection; it is not reading. Is anyone facing this problem. Request for solutions.
