One option is to use narrator. If on Windows xp and above, press the windows

Hi,

JAWS 8 onwards, there is a keystroke Windows key +Insert key +F4.  This is 
known as the JAWS Memory Dump Command.  If you lose speach, you can use this 
command and then restart JAWS without rebooting your computer.

hi, I am checking my mails after a long time so if someone has replied it 
already then sorry to waste the list's time, other wise my suggestion to 
restart jaws without restarting your pc is press windows logo key with 
insert and f 4. it will kill the process of jaws then you can try restarting 
it with your hotkey. it some times works. take care, regards. ashish

Yes indeed, as you mentioned, its works some times, but, if its crashed 
with java objects, it will not work at all. As a programmer, what I 
understood is, crash recovery is the major design floor of jaws.
