Hello Penny and others,
I was having this same issue as the rest of you, and I have been using
web.whatsapp.com
What fixed it for me was updating whatsapp to the latest version, logging
out from my machines, and linking my device again. the QR codes aren't as
simple as before, and it takes a little time for it to scan the thing.
Working just fine now though, without any issues.

@Vedprakash Sharma, if high contrast is enabled, everything is visible on the
computer screen, hence qr code of whatsapp is very much clearly visible, but
whatsapp camera doesn't capture it, i don't know why?

Hi all,
The best way to type long messages in WhatsApp is by attaching a
physical USB keyboard (via OTG cable) or bluetooth keyboard
(wirelessly) to your android phones. WhatsApp web has some or the
other accessibility issues. I also use WhatsApp web desktop app on my
Dell laptop with Windows10 and JAWS2018. However, I use it only when I
need to send a document present on my laptop to someone via WhatsApp.

Re: [AI] Need help with whatsapp web

2022-04-21 Thread Ajay Minocha
Yes, it used to work fine but now despite keeping virtual curser off,
it is automatically jumping to the chat messages from the list of
chats.

Ajay

Dear all,
Thanks very much for your suggestions. I have not used the virtual
cursor before and need to figure that out. I will check.
I also tried using whatsapp from the browser as you advised, but it is
not happenning. There are instructions about linking the phone with
the computer device but when I reach the scan qr code, that is where I
get stuck.
Also everything was working alright till a few days ago when it
changed. I am not able to understand why that happenned.

I do not use any specific App on my windows10. I just go to the link
web.whatsApp.com and all messages are downloaded. The first edit box is used to
search for a specific chat. As you search for names, first few letters show all
names associated with those letters. Enter on any name and you will reach on
message box of that specific contact. Get up arrow for reading messages.

Hello there,
Once launching the app, use up/down Arro to navigate between the chats, and
select the chat which you want to be convers with, with immediate effect, turn
off the virtual cursor and press shift tab twice, you will be in the messages
list and access the list by using again the up/down keys and if you want to
reply for particular message, just put the focus and press right arrow and
select the reply option and you are good to go.

[AI] Need help with whatsapp web

2022-04-20 Thread Penny Tony
Hello all,
I have been using whatsapp web on my home computer which has windows 11.
A few days ago, something changed and I am not able to read the chats.
I use tab to come to the chat list and then use the up or down arrows
to read the list of chats. If I want to read or reply to a particular
chat then I enter on it and so on.
However since the past few days, after I reach the chat list with tab
and then use the up or down arrow, my cursor goes into one of the
chats even though I do not want to get into it.
I wanted to know how I can address this. I have tried logging out, and
reinstalling but that has not worked. The same thing happenned
sometime ago with my office computer which has windows 7. The engineer
told me then that it was probably because my computer was running on
an old windows. I have therefore not been able to use whatsapp web in
the office.
Is anyone else facing this problem? How do I resolve it?

Hoping for some guidance
Thanks

Penelope Tong
