Re: [AI] Unable to install Webvisum Even after allowing unsigned add ons

2016-08-08 Thread Bharat
Please try downloading & updating the addon from the given link & see
if that elps!

In case that doesn't work, uninstall the addon completely & or rather
all the addons & then reinstall all of them in a sequence with
webvisum being the first one. In my case, i didn't even need to update
to the latest version & it has still been working!

[AI] Unable to install Webvisum Even after allowing unsigned add ons

2016-08-06 Thread Viraj Kafle
Friends,

I am not able to install Webvisum even after toggling
Xpinstall.signature.required to false. This has begun to happen after
I had to reset my PC for some reasons.

I am on Firefox version 48.0. I know they're planning to permanently
disallow unsigned add ons. But if that has already been done, the
abovementioned option should not have been there.

Any clue would have been of great help!

Regards.

Re: [AI] Unable to Install WebVisum Addon

2016-01-04 Thread shankar shan
hi thilak
just my suggestion
please disable the popups for www.webvisum.com
to do this please follow the steps
1. go to tools
2. click on option

3. Select the Content panel.

In the content panel:

list of 2 items
• Block pop-up windows: Uncheck this to disable the pop-up blocker altogether.
• Exceptions: This is a list of sites that you want to allow to
display pop-ups.
list end
definition list of 1 items
Allowpopupsites
list end

The dialog has the following choices:

list of 3 items
• Allow: Click this to add a website to the exceptions list.
• Remove Site: Click this to remove a website from the exceptions list.
• Remove All Sites: Click this to remove all of the websites in the
exceptions list.
list end
Note: Blocking pop-ups may not always work and may interfere with some
websites.

Re: [AI] Unable to Install WebVisum Addon

2016-01-03 Thread Bikram
Hi,

That's right. As Mukesh sir suggested above, I have mentioned the procedure
to resolve the similar issue. However, for your convenience, I am pasting
below the same instructions with a slight modification:
"There is an option to override this security setting. In order to do so,
you need to change that option through Firefox configuration editor. Please
note that you should only proceed with the following steps if you assure
yourself that you're not gonna make any unintended change/modification
during the process. Because accidental modification of the values of these
advanced settings can be harmful to the stability, security, and
performance of your browser. So, please do it at your own
risk!
1. Type "about:config" without the quotes in your browser address bar.
2. Click on "I'll be careful, I promise" button.
3. Type "xpinstall" without the quotes in the search box.
4. Press tab to get to the list of search results, and Use the arrow keys
to get the option called "xpinstall.signatures.required default boolean
true".
5. Press the application key to bring up the context menu options.
6. Choose toggle from that menu and press enter. You would discover that
the value is set to "false" which was initially "true". Note that you can
also press enter on the selected option to toggle the value of the boolean
type
7. Restart Firefox in order for the changes to take effect.
8. After implementing the change in the configuration settings as suggested
above, You could enable Webvisum again.
You can repeat the steps above to revert back to your default settings. In
that case, click "toggle" or "reset" to set this value to "true".
Hope that helps."

[AI] Unable to Install WebVisum Addon

2016-01-02 Thread Tilakprasad Joshi
Dear Friends,

I am a new user for WebVisum and installing WebVisum Addon for the
first time, I have registered myself on WebVisum’s Website and
successfully created my account. I am encountering a issue while
installing WebVisum Addon. First I get the message allowing for
installing Addon after pressing Alt+A that is to allow Addon to be
installed but later it throws message that, “Firefox has prevented
from installing this Addon” could any of you provide step by step
instruction how to install WebVisum Addon and how will I come to know
that my installation of of WebVisum has been successful?

Warm Regards,
Tilak.

Re: [AI] Unable to install webvisum

2008-07-10 Thread Roopakshi Pathania

Hi,

In addition to all the helpful information, a small advice.
Webvisum can help you in more ways than solving captchas. Beforing using it,
you might be interested to read the faq and howto sections from
www.webvisum.com.

Also, you can disable webvisum, when you think you dont need it. Simpely go to
the tools menue (alt + t), open add-ons options (a), arrow down to the webvisum
item, and tab around to reach the disable button.

Please ignore if you already know.

Regards
