Hi I don't know the present status, however, it applied only to rent of the basic plan. If you chose any other plan, it would not hold good. Yes, you can have data broadband using this connection. You can also check out with your local cable operators if they provide data. Even in some villages, you can get data. I am presently in one and I get good fiber optic connection. Dear access indians out there, I have heard about the concession that a blind can avail when applying to the landline phone line. since the era of landline has long passed, I want to inquire if there are any similar facilities or concessions that I can avail while applying to broadband.
