Re: [AI] Very simple and cheap way to Accessible TV experience
Hi how about its net connectivity? Do we be mandated to use their service through ethernet as I have seen in their setboxes the provision for ethernet connectivity or can we connect it through wifi?, What else features are their, such as connecting keyboards, web cams and apps and also what about its remote, is it accessible and tactile or touch remote. Your review would be of much use to most of us who are in look for an accessible android TV... [AI] Very simple and cheap way to Accessible TV experience
Dear all, I just tried out the Airtel Android Settop box, thanks to Rajpal for informing me. Airtel TV is selling this settop box for just Rs. 3,500. The dish antenna and installation charges are included. The settop box has android OS. I could go into settings and switch on Talkback. The best part is it is reading the channel names and programs as I go to next or previous channel. I can also press the down arrow key and read aloud the next program on the channel. With this, there is no need to buy the expensive Sony or Samsung TVs. It will work with any TV which has HDMI connection. You can install this Airtel settop box and enjoy satellite channels as well as apps like Netflix, Youtube etc. It is also possible to pause and rewind live TV. You can also save programs by connecting hard disk. It has many more features. Actually it is like a andoid mobile phone connected to the TV. If you want accessible TV then this is worth trying out.
