Hi Udit,



As far as my knowledge is concerned, GST concession while purchasing car is
not applicable to persons with visual impairment. However, road tax
exemption shall be there depending upon the state policy. For E.G. Kerala,
my home state is providing road tax exemption to disabled who purchase
vehicle. In the meantime, Andhra Pradesh, where I am currently working
gives no concession to visually impaired when purchasing new vehicles.

hi all,
yeryesterday I visited a tata dealership. As, I wanted to purchase a tata
punch for my family. I already know that we get GST concession. But, that
salesperson told me that. Its not available for visually impaired. He said
that. If we will give file. The RTO will reject it.
So, I wanted to know that. Does visually impaired who has 100% impairment.
Cannot get the concession. And other benefits.. If the answer is that we
can get. So, I would request someone to throw light on it. As, I am in need
of a car very urgently.
