Re: [AI] suggestions needed for accessible appliance two heat food
That's what I have been saying. For basic functions of microwave, it doesn't have to be talking. Any basic microwave is fine for performing tasks like reheating. Just ask a sighted person to put some marking or label it, if it's touch screen. That's it. But there’s talking microwave oven available for blind users, which have an audio output like TTS like we get in our mobile phone with screen reader. But I am not sure it’s touchscreen or it have buttons. But talking microwave oven are very very expensive. Re: [AI] suggestions needed for accessible appliance two heat food
I use a gas stove without any issue. For Microwave/ induction, you can look at any model which has buttons instead of touch screen, touch screen unnecessarily makes it complicated for a blind person. I am eagerly waiting for a smart (wi-fi connected) microwave to be launched in India which can be the ultimate solution. Re: [AI] suggestions needed for accessible appliance two heat food
Hi, When alone at home, I use microwave to heat my food. My mother generally puts a portion for me in a glass bowl (or i serve myself) which I reheat in a microwave. The microwave is not accessible and has a touch screen. But my mom has marked major buttons with the help of nail paint. I think induction cook top can also be used in similar manner. Hope this helps. Thanks and regards Kriya jain On Sun, 13 Mar, 2022, 6:42 am , wrote: > Hi Aman, > > What devices do you have at home?
