hi. I am using windows7 ultimate. I have no kdea to turn the window to save 
mode. also I don't have sited assistant at my home. isn't their are any way to 
uninstall?

enable sound in safe mode and then use the Avast Removal tool to 
remove the remaining parts of Avast.

hi,
 you need to have avast removal tool to remove the  avast antivirus.
find that from the below link:
http://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility
it says your windows should be safe mode and  self  defence  module
should be turned off from the avast setting interface.
although  when i tried with this tool,  disabling the self defence
module was enough.
