hello!

here is a summary of experiences, had by me and my friend Vedprakash about
this plugin:

1. instead of loading our home pages, IE always starts with your web page.

2. every program, we think, should be developed, keeping the beginners in
mind.

3. any such plugin will really be a great success, if they are well tested
in the web page's fields, like (settings) field of a gmail acount, before
they are distributed.

any way, sorry for the comments above, when, almost all other's comments are
with full of compliments.

regards,
Keshav.

 Hi Viraj,

The plug in is in beta mode, and there are some limitations.

As of now, forms are not supported. These will be supported however, in
version 1.0 which will be launched soon.

 Best regards,
 Gaurang.

Hello sir,

I have already downloaded the plug-in and am now using it. But, what
disappointted me is that, although the plug-in is very good for accessing
information, I could not find any way out to enter information. In google,
for example, I could find no edit box, while working with the plug-in, to
enter my search keywords. Similarly, in Yahoo, although it very
appropriately cleaned the less wanted contents and made it very easy to
access my inbox, I could find no place to compose a new mesage and had to
go
back, load the actual webpage and complete that process.

Of course, one can always do the same if one does not find what one needs,
but it would be better if the plug-in comes with these features as well.
Any
update on this?

Best regards,

Viraj.

Amiyo,

Thank you for your compliments. The plug in works great, whether you use
dial up or broadband. In fact, dialup users benefit because they can
quickly read news and other articles, without having to waste precious
internet time in searching for the article on the page.

If you need offline viewing, you can simply open your pages in multiple
windows and then go offline and read. Once the plug in has done its
work, you do not need to be connected to the Internet.

Viraj,

The problem you are facing is caused by a defect in your Windows
installation. To fix this problem, follow these steps
1.Download Windows Installer from

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=5FBC5470-B259-4733-
A914-A956122E08E8displaylang=en

2. Install this file

This will fix the defect in your Windows. Now you can install all the
files as required for the AccessibleNews plug in. In case you face
problems, please let me know.

Best regards,
Gaurang

Hello Gaurang,

I have installed the programme. It's excellent. But we, the dialup users,
mainly depend on offline reading. Once the pages are accessed through the
accessible patch you have developped, they are no longer available offline.
It is still wonderful for broadband users.

 Dear Amiyo,

This plug in makes your Internet browsing extremely convenient, whenever
you go online. You browse as you normally do, and get the simple clean
version of every webpage. You don't need to keep visiting the
 AccessibleNews website for this.

You need to get registered with AccessibleNews in order to use the plug
in. Registration is free and very easy. In fact, it is a single step
process. If you have already registered for AccessibleNews, that same
 login will work.

In case you face any problems, please let me know.

 Best regards,
 Gaurang.

Hi!

Of course it will work for all web sites. In fact, it has been designed
such that you don't have to visit AccessibleNews website again, except
for getting upgrades.

The plug in is an enhancement for IE, not a replacement. Hence, no
modifications are required to how you normally use IE. There are no
commands or procedures to learn further.

The plug in does not affect how others browse. If they do not want the
plug in, they can simply switch it off by pressing F10. You can switch
it on again by pressing F10 again, or simply restarting IE.

You need administrative permissions on the computer where you want to
install the plug in. Make sure your office computer allows you to do
that.

Gaurang.

Hello friends!

I have some wonderful news to share with you!

We have now launched AccessibleNews Plug in (Beta) for IE, a more
powerful version of AccessibleNews that works even without RSS feeds!
It
actually brings the entire Internet to your fingertips
It is available at http://www.accessiblenews.com/plugin/

It is an extension for Internet Explorer that rearranges web pages so
as
to make them easier to use and faster to read with screen readers. It
attempts to determine the correct sequence of reading every web page,
as
intended by its designer. It then present this same sequence to the
screen reader, so that the user reads it correct side up. As a
result, the important content in the page, that the author has
highlighted in the layout, comes up to the top, while the other
relatively less important things go to the bottom. Thus, navigation
links, advertisements, etc do not obstruct the user.

This significantly improves the speed at which blind persons can find
information on the Internet. The AccessibleNews Plug in is a great
improvement over mere linearizing as currently done by screen readers.

The Plug in is very easy to use too! You browse the Internet as you
normally do in IE. When a web page opens, simply press the F9 key! The
page will load again, this time in an accessible format. If you want
the
original page, you just have to use the back button feature of IE.

So download the plug in, and get started today! The plug in is
available
at http://www.accessiblenews.com/plugin/

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.

Best regards,
Gaurang Kanvinde.

information, I could not find any way out to enter information. In google,
for example, I could find no edit box, while working with the plug-in, to
enter my search keywords. Similarly, in Yahoo, although it very
appropriately cleaned the less wanted contents and made it very easy to
access my inbox, I could find no place to compose a new mesage and had to go
back, load the actual webpage and complete that process.

Of course, one can always do the same if one does not find what one needs,
but it would be better if the plug-in comes with these features as well. Any
update on this?

Best regards,

Viraj.

 Amiyo,

Thank you for your compliments. The plug in works great, whether you use
dial up or broadband. In fact, dialup users benefit because they can
quickly read news and other articles, without having to waste precious
internet time in searching for the article on the page.

If you need offline viewing, you can simply open your pages in multiple
windows and then go offline and read. Once the plug in has done its
work, you do not need to be connected to the Internet.

 Viraj,

The problem you are facing is caused by a defect in your Windows
installation. To fix this problem, follow these steps
 1.Download Windows Installer from

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=5FBC5470-B259-4733-
A914-A956122E08E8displaylang=en
 2. Install this file

This will fix the defect in your Windows. Now you can install all the
files as required for the AccessibleNews plug in. In case you face
 problems, please let me know.

 Best regards,
 Gaurang

Not only that Geetha: I have to make sure I hear everything clearly,
because I edit documents and if I don't hear it properly, I would make
mistakes. Also, newspaper offices are a bit louder and noisier than
other work places, so keeping lower volumes in speakers won't help at
all in most cases. But, the only protection (which I assume would help)
is to cover the ear fully with cotton and then use headphones (at a very

This has been helpful, but of-late I am getting more pain around my neck

I am afraid there is no easy way out, as using speakers at work will

Try using flat earphones that cover the outer part of the ear rather
than
ear buds that go into the ear.
I avoid ear buds, and my ears have never hurt from using headphones.

 Hi!

Of course it will work for all web sites. In fact, it has been
 designed
such that you don't have to visit AccessibleNews website again,
except
 for getting upgrades.

The plug in is an enhancement for IE, not a replacement. Hence, no
modifications are required to how you normally use IE. There are no
commands or procedures to learn further.

The plug in does not affect how others browse. If they do not want
the
plug in, they can simply switch it off by pressing F10. You can
switch
it on again by pressing F10 again, or simply restarting IE.

You need administrative permissions on the computer where you want to
install the plug in. Make sure your office computer allows you to do
 that.

Let's get this clear. R.P. doesn't cause you ear problems. What may have
perhaps happened in our cases is that the responsibility on our ears
have become suddently higher due to loss of vision. Our ears, to an
extant, have to take up the load of observing the environment and we do
use our ears excessively to do things; like finding out time for
example. I guess this has resulted in excess stress for our ears.

for this accessibility, there are two things worth-mentioning. first:
whenever I open internet explorer, the accessibility page opens by itself
although I have set it to be a blank page. afterwards, whenever I wish to go
on some other site, after every link, the accessible news page is displayed.
Secondly, the accessible news registration is not free after a certain
period of time.

It is an extension for Internet Explorer that rearranges web pages so as
to make them easier to use and faster to read with screen readers. It
attempts to determine the correct sequence of reading every web page, as
intended by its designer.

If you want the
original page, you just have to use the back button feature of IE.

So download the plug in, and get started today! The plug in is available
 at http://www.accessiblenews.com/plugin/

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.

 Best regards,
 Gaurang Kanvinde.

 Hi!

Of course it will work for all web sites. In fact, it has been
designed
such that you don't have to visit AccessibleNews website again, except
 for getting upgrades.

Make sure your office computer allows you to do
that.

 Best regards,
 Gaurang.

2006-09-28 Thread Gaurang Kanvinde

Best regards,
Gaurang.

I am afraid there is no easy way out, as using speakers at work will disturb
other colleagues.
Try using flat earphones that cover the outer part of the ear rather than
ear buds that go into the ear.
I avoid ear buds, and my ears have never hurt from using headphones.

Well, prolonged exposure to synthetic speech through ear phones has been
proved to be perilous for hearing in the long run. So, by keeping the volume
sufficiently low as not to disturb colleagues, one ought to try to avoid
earphones. Cooperation and understanding by sighted peers also goes a long
way in assuring this.

Hi Gaurang !

Thanks for your continued efforts to make web content accessible to the
visually challenged. Could you please confirm whether I could uninstall the
plug-in easily in case I face any performance or security issues ?

Thanks and regards

Subject: [AI] the Internet becomes accessible!

It is an extension for Internet Explorer that rearranges web pages so as
to make them easier to use and faster to read with screen readers. It
attempts to determine the correct sequence of reading every web page, as
intended by its designer.

If you want the
original page, you just have to use the back button feature of IE.

So download the plug in, and get started today! The plug in is available
 at http://www.accessiblenews.com/plugin/

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.

 Best regards,
 Gaurang Kanvinde.
