Exchange put a lot of energy in to finding this one and getting root cause + a fix prior to RTM. Hard issue to hit, but not impossible either. Windows Team != Exchange Team We've (Exchange MVPs) pushed and pushed for this for several patches over the last few years. Approval cycles, timeframes, requirements, etc. all differ between the teams. I'm sure politics are involved too.
