Worried about future modifications in apility!
Hii, I have written an application for adwords and it is running successfully after I made changes in accordance with the migration guidelines. But what has me worried is I am still using a couple of functions like the following: getKeywordXmlReport getCampaignXmlReport Will they also become obselete in sometime like the others? Or was the change partial. Any idea how often google will make changes since migration is a time consuming process specially if the previous functions dont work at all in the new functionality? -- =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~ Also find us on our blog and discussion group: http://adwordsapi.blogspot.com http://groups.google.com/group/adwords-api =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "AdWords API Forum" group. BoomUserList in Ad Performance report
I read several threads from earlier this year regarding "BoomUserList" and "UserVertical" match types in reports. The recommendation back then was to ignore these types because these types would be removed. Since I still see these types does the recommendation still stand? Are the impressions/ clicks for these rows already counted elsewhere (e.g., in the "Total - content targeting" or website rows for the same ad)? Re: InternalApiError.UNEXPECTED_INTERNAL_API_ERROR
If it helps out any, AdWords API Advisor, ojak is not alone in this issue. I've been getting the same UNEXPECTED_INTERNAL_API_ERROR when performing a BulkMutateJobService in the sandbox environment. It happens only occasionally, and inconsistently. I was searching all day yesterday for something about this issue. So I guess it's somewhat refreshing to know that I'm not alone, and that it's (hopefully) not on our end. I'll be following this thread for further developments! Let me know if I can be of any help. Re: A job to get monthly search volume for a bulk of keywords
With the API you can give it a batch of keywords, get search volume numbers & CPC (for any match type) for just the keywords you give it. We're doing about 250 at a time and it's working well. It doesn't seem to like it when you batch too many of them together, or do too many calls in a row of small batches. They're having issues with search volume numbers via the API currently, so hold off until that's resolved. When it is working, the numbers returned should match the numbers you see in the updated External AdWords Keyword Tool (NOT the Search Based Keyword Tool).
