Is there a contact person who can check the status of my pending API

Java Client: v201101.ReportUtils.waitAndDownloadCrossClientReport doesn't include yesterday when downloaded through API

2011-09-01 Thread Eric Peters
I have report ID: 99875289 (for anyone inside the Google Team that can
check) that is behaving differently if I download
the report using the java library (trunk build from about 8/20)
ReportUtils.waitAndDownloadCrossClientReport vs if I download the
report using the GUI.

The API .csv.gz is missing yesterdays (and todays) data.
The GUI .csv.gz isn't missing anything

It's almost like the report I'm getting from the service is on a stale
set of reporting data (missing yesterday 2011-08-31) or is somehow
cached, is there an API call to effectively uncache it?

The code seemed to have been working fine yesterday (like it would
download 2011-08-29 fine on 2011-08-30)

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Eric

impressions changes through out time

2011-09-01 Thread timp
Greetings,

During our upgrade process, we have been comparing what is in our database
against the google ui for impressions / clicks.

We are seeing occasionally a different number of impressions in items.
A negligible percentage, but a difference all the same.

For instance in one set of keywords, we are off 11 impressions out of 30
million in July.
In another we are off 15 out of 11.5 million in June.

At what point does google consider data final?

I was considering pulling data from just 2 weeks ago, rather than the 4
which I think we doing now.

Or should I every once in a while pull 6 months?

I would like to have a perfect data set.

Ad Performance report

2011-09-01 Thread chris h
What is the "human readable" equivalent of the "Id" field in this
report? For campaigns, there is CampaignId and CampaignName. Likewise
for AdGroupId and AdGroupName. But it's not apparent what field give
the name of the ad - or something equivalent to the name.

Help with AuthenticationError.GOOGLE_ACCOUNT_COOKIE_INVALID @ Service[CampaignService.get]

headers.Add("Useragent", appConfigGetValue("UserAgent"))
headers.Add("clientCustomerId", 1)

Return headers
End Function

' Create the selector.
Dim selector As New Selector
selector.fields = New String() {"Id", "Name", "Status"}

Try
' Get all campaigns.
Dim page As CampaignPage =
campaignService.get(selector) **  I GOT THE ERROR HERE

Catch ex As Exception
Console.WriteLine("Failed to retrieve Campaign(s).
Exception says ""{0}""", ex.Message)
End Try
End Sub

On the sand box, I use this code and it works.

 Public Function getCredencialUser()
Dim headers As New Dictionary(Of String, String)

headers.Add("Useragent", appConfigGetValue("UserAgent"))
headers.Add("Email", appConfigGetValue("Email"))
headers.Add("Password", appConfigGetValue("Password"))

 I have read a lot and it seems I am using and invalid authtoken, but
I just got it 24 hour ago. The other error could be I am not copied it
weel, but i already checked it. Is there anyway to check on my
account, nop using the api, if an authtoken is ok?? i have been 2 days
checking every thing, making changes but I cant make it work.

Can someone help me eith this.

TrafficEstimatorService

2011-09-01 Thread AndyMT

hi,

** **

** **

   talk about leaving it to the last minute

** **

   just upgrading to the new TrafficEstimatorService (201101) from from
previous version.

** **

   i'm having to update a VB.NET solution for an MS Excel
workbook.

** **

   I can't get my project to compile. I'm getting this message in Visual
Studio 2008 :

** **

 Method TrafficEstimatorService.get can not be reflected SGEN

** **

   This error doesn't break out into any specific line of code. Generated
from SGEN (XML Serialisation etc).**

   What i'm passing into get() seems to match the signature. nothing is
underlined to denote a mismatch.

Dim service As New com.google.adwords1.TrafficEstimatorService

Dim reqCam(1) As CampaignEstimateRequest

reqCam(1).campaignId = Nothing

reqCam(1).adGroupEstimateRequests = reqAdGrp

Dim resCam(1) As com.google.adwords1.CampaignEstimate

resCam(0) = New com.google.adwords1.CampaignEstimate

*resCam = service.get(reqCam)*

** **

   (reqAdGrp is defined and populated prior to this code).**

   I can't see why it won't compile. the line bolded is the one causing the
problems i guess.

**

** **

   I've added this in as a web service :

** **

https://adwords.google.com/api/adwords/o/v201101/TrafficEstimatorService?wsdl

** **

   Anyone got any ideas ? Or even better, anyone know of any code samples
lurking around the internet for this way of working with this new method.
This would have made this whole upgrade process that much more
straightforward. **

** **

   Any help would be greatly appreciated.

** **

   Thanks

** **

Andy

AdGroupCriterionService - can not get DELETED criteria

2011-09-01 Thread jakov jesil
Hi,
I have trouble with getting DELETED criteria from Google Adwords using
AdGroupCriterionService
For some campaigns (adgroups) im getting all criteria including
DELETED
Example Request ID: 0004abe1b8785dd00ada5646227f9b05

But with same code (API client too) for other campaigns (adgroups) im
getting only PAUSED and ACTIVE criteria even if i know for sure that
there are deleted keywords
Example Request ID: 0004abe1dbd1fcf00ada3085227db735

My predicates, written in PHP, looks like this:

$adGroupIdPredicate = new Predicate('AdGroupId', 'IN',
array(2358917107));
$criterionStatusPredicate = new Predicate('Status', 'IN',
array('ACTIVE', 'PAUSED', 'DELETED'));
$selector->predicates = array($adGroupIdPredicate,
$criterionStatusPredicate);

Thanks!

Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation

2011-09-01 Thread Ben Vincent
Hi,

I have encountered a strange problem which is causing me a lot of
grief, and wondered if someone had some pointers.

I have writen a Windows Service - which uses the Traffic Estimator
Service to gather some data for me. I recently updated the code from
V13 to v201101.

If I run the code as a console application, it works fine.

If I run the code as a Windows Service it works fine on my development
PC, but as soon as I try and run the service on the live server
(windows 2008 server) it throws an error.

This line:
 TrafficEstimatorService trafficestimatorservice =

(TrafficEstimatorService)user.GetService(AdWordsService.v201101.TrafficEstimatorService);

Throws this error:
Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. / Could not
find file 'C:\Windows\TEMP\10hoolot.dll'.

My user is setup:

 Dictionary headers = new Dictionary();

headers.Add("email", "x...@xx.xxx");
headers.Add("password", "");
headers.Add("useragent", "xx");
headers.Add("developerToken", "x");
user = new AdWordsUser(headers);

What I dont understand is why the code works as a console app on the
server, but when the same library is called by a windows service it
throws this error.

Any ideas?

Kind regards,

Ben

Bulk mutate job issue

2011-09-01 Thread mufeel
Hi Guys,

I'm using the BulkMutateJob service of the google adwords api for
adgroup and keyword insertion.

It seems to work fine for most parts, but at a random point of the
scripts execution, the Bulk mutate job issues a 'processing' status
and is stuck at that stage for a small interval after which i receive
an internal api error.

I'm not sure if there is a limitation on the number of BulkMutateJob
requests in the sandbox (my current environment) ..

Your assistance is much appreciated.

Warm Regards
