RMF-list - are you kidding? Google, you are loosing the popularity contest...
We have waited over 2 months for an API developer token approval. Last week we were presented with the RMF-list (Required Minimum Functionality), which basically means that we have to build a clone of Google's own Adwords tool, instead of the simple, intuitive tool meant for very specific tasks that we are actually building. It seems Google has a) not thought this through or b) is trying to squash competition by making life impossible for us. Google does not answer our mails, so I hope someone in here can shed a little light on the issue before it's too late for us. -- =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~ Also find us on our blog and discussion group: http://adwordsapi.blogspot.com http://groups.google.com/group/adwords-api =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "AdWords API Forum" group. Re: OAuth - didn't see it mentioned so I thought I'd ask
Does it supports AuthSub Authentication? If not, is there any other way for authentication other than ClientLogin using Java? RE: Action Required
http://adwordsapi.blogspot.com/2011/11/action-required-developer-token.html Am I the only one who thinks it is a really bad idea to introduce potentially breaking changes the the day before thanksgiving and outside of a release? What happened to "Don't be evil." As a result of this change, we have to log-in on a holiday--Thanksgiving day (US)--to make sure your changes don't break our systems the day before the two biggest US shopping days of the year--Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This didn't strike anyone as a bad idea? This is beside the point that this change is occurring outside of a release which is unavoidable on occasion, but is certainly avoidable in this case. You could have included this in v201109 or at the very least pushed it until the sunsets of the older services in Feb. Anyway thanks for making me work the holiday.
