[QuotaCheckError.INCOMPLETE_SIGNUP @ ; trigger:'null']

2013-03-05 Thread Damien Shiells

Trying to connect to the Google AdWords API and when running
GetCampaigns.php from the PHP API examples, I get the following error:

An error has occurred: [QuotaCheckError.INCOMPLETE_SIGNUP @ ;
trigger:'null']

According to someone at adwordsapi-tok...@google.com everything looks fine
from their end and someone will be in contact with me shortly, but it's
been weeks and I've had to contact - or even a reply to my follow ups.

I have tried using the online chat system however I was told he would guide
me to where I will find more info, then finished the Chat - very
frustrating!

Can anyone help? Even an e-mail to send the query to (a query that is very
quickly becoming a complaint!)

Thanks.

Segmentation by Campaign in KEYWORDS_PERFORMANCE_REPORT

2013-03-05 Thread Dorian Kind
Hi all,

when I request an adhoc report of the type KEYWORDS_PERFORMANCE_REPORT and
filter for a specific keyword and match type combination—let's call it
[keyword]—I get the following results (requesting keyword text, match type
and conversions):

Ad Hoc Report (Feb 1, 2013)

Keyword,Match type,Conv. (1-per-click)

keyword,Exact,0

keyword,Exact,0

keyword,Exact,432

keyword,Exact,0

keyword,Exact,0

keyword,Exact,0

Total, --,432

I was a bit confused by the extra lines until I realized that this specific
keyword was used in 6 different campaigns. Apparently this report always
segments by campaign ID:

Ad Hoc Report (Feb 1, 2013)

Campaign ID,Keyword,Match type,Conv. (1-per-click)

111724208,keyword,Exact,0

117047768,keyword,Exact,432

117048608,keyword,Exact,0

146873408,keyword,Exact,0

146874008,keyword,Exact,0

146873888,keyword,Exact,0

Total, --, --,432

It's trivial to sum up the values from the different campaigns (even more
so in this example when we only look at a single keyword) but I still
wonder whether there is a way to suppress this behavior and just show
totals over the whole account?
Furthermore, is this actually documented somewhere? I couldn't find
anything in the Report Types appendix.

Thanks for any feedback cheers,
Dorian

If so, you can get the bid modifier with CampaignCriterionService by the

Also, you can refer how you set the bid modifier

Re: How to resolvbe UNABALE_TO_AUTHORIZE error .net client library v201209

2013-03-05 Thread Takeshi Hagikura (AdWords API Team)
Hi,

First, can you please confirm whether you can get the authToken?
https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/

In the 0. Get your authentication token. section.

If you can't, it's most likely you enable the 2 step authorization.
If that is the case, you should retrieve the application specific password.

Best,
- Takeshi

 3. Login Id
 4. Password

Here is what I am using:

 1. ASP.NET Client Library version v201209
 2. ClientLogin method

Here is what I am getting when invoking the method:

 1. An Auth token by passing Email Id and Password
 2. An exception 'UNABLE_TO_AUTHORIZE where trying to get a report. This

I did not get much help about trouble shooting other than this (

 ):

 Reason
 *UNABLE_TO_AUTHORIZE*
 Summary
*There was an issue with completing authorization for a given

 under a non-MCC account.*
 Recommended handling tips
 *N/A*
 Prevention tips
*Use ManagedCustomerService to determine if the account is an MCC
account. The field ManagedCustomer.canManageClients should be true.*

Google says ManagedCustomerService is a Read-only properly. But I could
not find any such property called ManagedCustomerServic in the library.
Also I think it using the property will only prevent the error to come up?

I must be doing something wrong. Please help. I must get this working as
 soon as possible

 Thanks in advance,

 Subrata

Apparently yes. You can edit site links at the Adgroup level with the new
enhanced campaigns. Just tried it out.

Being able to ad Extension only to specific ad groups would really give

Thanks Kevin, just for anyone else reading this in the future, it is
possible to attach Location Ad Extensions to a specific Ad, using the

Geotargeting (proximity) with python

2013-03-05 Thread Tomer
I'm trying to figure out how to set up a campaign to target a radius around
a certain address, using the python client library.
I can't find any recent example how to do that (only one from 2008, and it
seems that the syntax has changed considerably).

Would appreciate any pointers to code examples. My guess is I need to
convert the target address to longtitue / latitude and then pass it as part
of adding a new campaign.

Thanks

Hi,

You can refer this example.
https://code.google.com/p/google-api-ads-python/source/browse/trunk/examples/adspygoogle/adwords/v201302/targeting/add_campaign_targeting_criteria.py

That is not using Proximity, but the usage is basically same.
You should send
Proximityhttps://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201302/CampaignCriterionService.Proximity
 as
a criterion.

Best,
