Test account api-not working-Quotacheckerror[incomplete_signup]

2013-07-18 Thread tomflat561
Hi,

I have followed the instructions and registered for a test account from my
existing MCC account, I have filled out the billing T C's correctly, I am
seeing the following error:

Quotacheckerror[Incomplete_signup]

Now, I have ticked all the T C's etc, so think it relate to the test
account access, I have yet to receive an approval email still-please advise
on any guidance.

Many Thanks,

Tom.

There are two reasons for this message:

 - TC is not accepted on the MCC level;
 - your token is not yet approved and you are trying to access non-test

If still in doubt, please send me your MCC account ID.

Concurrency issues with ReportUtilities.DownloadClientReport

2013-07-18 Thread sbuteau
Hi,

We need help with using the awapi_dotnet_lib_v15.8.0 library (which was the
latest version four weeks ago).

We currently have a windows service that creates 64 threads. Each thread
then fetches reports (CAMPAIGN_PERFORMANCE_REPORT for a single campaign) in
a loop. We are having trouble when concurrently fetching those reports when
using the DownloadClientReportT(T reportDefinition, string path) method.
What we see is that the first thread that completes is able to download the
report in 3-4 seconds. However, the following downloads get linearly slower
until they stabilize around an average of 2 min 30 sec per download.

This would seem to indicate that even when running in parallel, the library
is actually executing our report calls sequentially.

This unfortunately happens in our PRODUCTION environment and on our
developers' environment, but surprisingly not on our QA environment. This
would seem to indicate that it is a server setting, but we cannot find
which one it is.

We have already set the following in the App.config of the service (with no
luck):

  system.net
connectionManagement
  clear /
  add address=* maxconnection=1000 /
/connectionManagement
settings
  httpWebRequest maximumErrorResponseLength=-1 /
/settings
  /system.net

We have also tried setting ServicePointManager.DefaultConnectionLimit =
1000 at the start of the service, but again with no success.

The strange thing is that we do not see this problem with the previous .Net
library that we have been using (adxbuyer_dotnet_lib_src_v15.0.0) !

Did something change in the source code that would explain this behavior ?
Do you have any other idea of how to resolve this issue ?

Thanks for your help.

Re: Targetcontentcontextual. CustomerSyncService and some other questions

2013-07-18 Thread Danial Klimkin
Hello Oleg,

1. Once TargetContentContextual setting can not be modified for any new
campaign. It only had meaning before Flexible Targeting was introduced.
Please see this article for more details:

http://support.google.com/adwords/bin/answer.py?hl=enanswer=1209882from=2575708rd=1

2. Please check with the general AdWords support for delivery-related
questions.

3. TargetRestrictSetting is no longer available in the latest API
version. TargetingSettingDetail with targetAll=TRUE means that dimension is
only used for bidding.

4. CSS should return new items as well. Please make sure your date range is
correct and campaign IDs list is not restricting. You may also find it is
easier to use reports to pull details for synchronization.

No worries and greetings from Saint-Petersburg! ;)

ImageError.INVALID_IMAGE Question

2013-07-18 Thread Herb Brittner
I have a question about uploading image ads. We are uploading images that
are well under the new file size limit of 150KB and of valid dimensions
that are coming back with an ImageError.INVALID_IMAGE error. The offending
ads are really just bigger, higher quality versions of ads we already have
running. Here's the list of file dimensions and sizes:

160x600 jpg - 126 KB
300x250 jpg - 96 KB
728x90 jpg - 103 KB
336x280 jpg - 130 KB

The error isn't telling us a lot about what's actually wrong with the
image, but it doesn't say the file size is too big or the dimensions are
wrong. Any ideas? If you need more information I can gladly provide it.

Thanks,
Herb Brittner

Re: Icomplete signup error despite accepting terms and conditions

2013-07-18 Thread jaison . directi
Hi Danial,

I have tried running the script again but it still gives me the same error.

I had earlier opted to use NET Banking as the payment mode when I entered
the billing details at the client account level. However, at the MCC level
the system requires me to Fax my credit card details and is the only
available option in the billing preference (Please note that the country of
billing address is India).

In order to accept the TC at the MCC level I need to enter my billing
information without which the system does not allow me to accept the TC.

I need to use the current MCC only for testing and familiarizing myself
with the adwords API. Do I still need to enter my billing details? Please
advise.

Thanks,
Jaison

Re: Search funnels report

2013-07-18 Thread Alex
Hi,
are there any plans to implement search funnels in the API? At the Google
Adwords API Workshops was said that you try to offer all features from the
Adwords Interface in the API. Search funnels are available in the Adwords
Interface for some time now, but there is no way to get the data over API.
It seems like analytics API (which does return search funnel data) doesnt
return any IDs. Hence we can not match the data to Adwords-Data.

Re: Ad Performance report does not work properly

2013-07-18 Thread David Torres (AdWords API Team)
Hi Federico,

I'm not sure I'm following your question, could you expand on it?

To enforce your findings, it is true that the clickType columns causes a
segmentation that makes your report totals not match due to the possible
double counting.

Re: newbie - my first ad hoc report request - getting a 400 response

2013-07-18 Thread Keith Adams

Thanks so much for your help, Anash. I'm not using a client library, so
can't figure out how to apply the guidance on that page you linked.
However, I'm going to just install Fiddler and see if I can figure out
 on
my own how to get it to show the response body and header.

The software I'm using to send the request is proprietary
software developed by my employer. It's supposed to capture the response
header and body, but it seems to me that it may not be doing so because it
sees the error, and therefore just aborts. Trying to work through this with
our internal Tech Support. But I just want to confirm with you that you're
pretty sure that it should return a body and/or header, even when
generating the 400 response. If so, it might indicate a bug in our software.

Again, many thanks, Keith

Now I want to and Line 2 and Line 3 placeholder fields and it doesn't
work. I get an ApiException with 2
FieldMappingError.INVALID_PLACEHOLDER_TYPE, for my 2 new placeholder
fields. I've followed the C# example, and I add Line 2 and Line 3 the same
way I add Text and Url placeholder.

Re: How to decide whether each campaign for one account has conversion tracking or not?

2013-07-18 Thread David Torres (AdWords API Team)

Hi Leo,

There is no direct link between a campaign and a conversion tracker. The
counting of conversions and the connection with a campaign is implicit and
happens with a user that clicks on an ad (that belongs to a campaign) then
generates a conversion in your website.

Best,

Re: How do I get Criteria by CriteriaId?

Hi Aradhya,

We don't keep record of deleted campaign criteria, that is why there are
not visible to the CampaignCriterionService.

 Hi David,

I am getting this error when I tried what you suggested:

 SelectorError.INVALID_PREDICATE_FIELD_NAME @ serviceSelector;

I expected this would happen as there is no such field mentioned here:

Also, where can I get a list of all the possible statuses?

 Hi Aradhya,

For deleted criteria you also have to specific a predicate such as
Status IN ['DELETED']. By default deleted criteria is not returned by
 the services.

 Hi,

I looked into *ConstantDataService*, but it returns all criterias,
and there is no provision to filter by Ids.

Is there an issue with the automatic placement report?
I used to download it with no problem using the adhoc reports but in the
last 2 days the reports are always with no data - I only get the columns
names...

Thanks,
