KEYWORDS_PERFORMANCE_REPORT not returning adgroup level negative keywords

At first I thought it might be something to do with segmentation, but none of the fields are segments. As far as I can tell this worked as expected in version v201502 of the API. I also tried ALL_TIME and without any predicates, but nothing seems to work. -- -- =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~ Also find us on our blog and Google+: https://googleadsdeveloper.blogspot.com/ https://plus.google.com/+GoogleAdsDevelopers/posts =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups AdWords API Forum group. How to get Adwords Video Ads performance report as email attachment from scheduled report?
Hi There, I have scheduled video performance report from adwords to my email address. The report I'm getting is in link format, but I'm more interested in getting it as attachment so that I can read it using a script. Is there any way I can schedule a report which can send an attachment to the email? or is there anyway that I can get the link from the email and using a script can get the file? Re: Add sitelink in Bulk (Python API)
Hi Anup, The MutateJobService https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201506/MutateJobService does not support *CampaignExtensionSettingOperations* -- see the list of operations supported in the mutate parameters https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201506/MutateJobService#parameters_3 . However, it's perfectly fine to send multiple *CampaignExtensionSettingOperations* in a single CampaignExtensionSettingService.mutate https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201506/CampaignExtensionSettingService#mutate call. Re: Best practice for report downloading from multiple client accounts inside an MCC account
Hi Amit, Regarding Java, I don't have a sample program to do this, but the key point to remember is to make sure you are following the recommendations in our thread safety guide for Java https://github.com/googleads/googleads-java-lib/wiki/Thread-Safety. The basic setup would be as follows: 1. Create a thread pool (ExecutorService http://docs.oracle.com/javase/7/docs/api/java/util/concurrent/ExecutorService.html ) 2. For each *clientCustomerId* (AdWords account), create and submit a new Callable http://docs.oracle.com/javase/7/docs/api/java/util/concurrent/ExecutorService.html#submit(java.util.concurrent.Callable) to the *ExecutorService*. This *Callable* should: - Create a new *AdWordsSession* with the *clientCustomerId* set properly. - Create a new *ReportDownloader*, passing the *AdWordsSession* created just for that *Callable*. - Invoke *downloadReport* on the *ReportDownloader* and process the results in whichever way fits your use case. - This will be very similar to *runExample* in the DownloadCriteriaReport.java example https://github.com/googleads/googleads-java-lib/blob/master/examples/adwords_axis/src/main/java/adwords/axis/v201506/reporting/DownloadCriteriaReport.java . 3. Track the results of each *Callable* returned by *ExecutorService.submit*. Resubmit any failed requests, provided they failed because of transient errors (see Anash's earlier post). 4. Call ExecutorService.html.shutdown() http://docs.oracle.com/javase/7/docs/api/java/util/concurrent/ExecutorService.html#shutdown() to clean up the thread pool when done. I am trying to set up API access to AdWords, and cannot get past the first step in Account Settings-AdWords API Center. The first thing that gave me problems was the fact that I can't edit any of the fields on this form. No matter what I do, I get an error Value is required: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-oSewAzgjfXE/VaPmB70Eb1I/AU0/l130oZTBIVg/s1600/Screen%2BShot%2B2015-07-07%2Bat%2B9.35.34%2BAM.png This account was set up some time back by an employee who has left the company, and the email address here may have never been valid. I suspect that is why the Access level is rejected. Recently, when I try to open this screen, I get an error message across the top: https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-qFPRKJWkk0I/VaPlmQu34LI/AUs/sFvcLki3cag/s1600/Screen%2BShot%2B2015-07-13%2Bat%2B9.17.24%2BAM.jpg Any help or suggestions? thanks, Andy -- -- =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~ Also find us on our blog and Google+: https://googleadsdeveloper.blogspot.com/ https://plus.google.com/+GoogleAdsDevelopers/posts =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups AdWords API Forum group. Re: KEYWORDS_PERFORMANCE_REPORT not returning adgroup level negative keywords
HI, My suggestion is to add the predicate IsNegative IN [true, false]. This should add all keywords regardless of whether they are negative or not. How to Get Reach Estimate Through the API?
Hi, In the Adwords UI, you can see an estimate of impressions available per week on the Google Display Network for your ad group (see below link). https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/2475441?hl=en The above page says: The estimates you see don't represent the actual traffic your ads will get. Instead, they represent the potential number of impressions available for any advertiser using the settings and targeting options that you've selected for your ad group. Question is, how can I get this data from the API? If I understand right, this data is different from the TrafficEstimatorService (which estimates traffic available to a campaign, not the total volume that exists). Re: Use of text string 'ax' in an Ad Headline returning POLICY_ERROR
Had that one too... In my case the violating word was a cigarette brand in the US - although the ad was targeted to a European country where they never heard of that brand, Google decided it was a violation. However, re-submitting the same ad with a request for an exemption does help.
