Trigger: Unable to read report data

2015-10-20 Thread jesus . romero
Hi,

I work with the API in python, I was working with this report:

report = {
'reportName': 'Camp',
'dateRangeType': 'CUSTOM_DATE',
'reportType': 'CAMPAIGN_PERFORMANCE_REPORT',
'downloadFormat': 'CSV',
'selector': {
'dateRange':{'min':PD,'max':UD},
'fields': ['CampaignId', 'CampaignStatus','Labels',
   'Impressions',
   'SearchImpressionShare',
   'SearchBudgetLostImpressionShare',
   'SearchRankLostImpressionShare',
   'CampaignName'],
}
}

everything was fine, but when I try to filter the report like this:

report = {
'reportName': 'Camp',
'dateRangeType': 'CUSTOM_DATE',
'reportType': 'CAMPAIGN_PERFORMANCE_REPORT',
'downloadFormat': 'CSV',
'selector': {
'dateRange':{'min':PD,'max':UD},
'fields': ['CampaignId', 'CampaignStatus','Labels',
   'Impressions',
   'SearchImpressionShare',
   'SearchBudgetLostImpressionShare',
   'SearchRankLostImpressionShare',
   'CampaignName'],
'predicates':{'field':'Labels','operator':'CONTAINS_ALL',
  'values':['Deportes']}
}
}

It doesn't work and give me the next error:

googleads.errors.AdWordsReportBadRequestError: Type:
ReportDownloadError.ERROR_GETTING_RESPONSE_FROM_BACKEND
Trigger: Unable to read report data
Field Path: None

Anyone know how can I solve this?

Thanks a lot for the response Anthony.

I have a very basic question regarding AWQL and so I apologise in advance

Campaign and Adgroup name in Video Performance Report

2015-10-20 Thread Tiana S.
Hi all,

I had a look at the All reports overview an noticed it's not possible to
request the campaign or adgroup name in the Video Performance Report...
As you can see here
https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/appendix/reports/all-reports#campaignname,

(almost) all performance reports have an option to fetch the associated
campaign name and adgroup name except for the Video Performance Report and
3 or 4 others.

Any chance this is going to be added?

Thanks,

Tiana

Re: Get list of verticals

2015-10-20 Thread Tiana S.
Hi Nadine,

That's not exactly answering my question...
We used to get the verticals and we know how to get the csv. We're doing it
for some of the other categories of user interests as well, but the page
doesn't exist anymore. The "Verticals" option is still in the interface,
but when you click it you get redirected to "Affinity Groups".

My question was whether "Verticals" has been removed completely as page and
csv or whether this is a documentation issue on your side?

Best regards,

Tiana

Re: AgeRange performance report returning multiple rows even though no other segmentation field is selected

2015-10-20 Thread Tiana S.
Ah I see. That's a bit crooked then, as because the documentation states
"If other segment fields are used, you may get more than one row per age
range.". I didn't select any other segment fields, so I would expect a
single row per age range. :)
But I understand, thanks for your help!

All the best,

Yes, you need to update to the latest gem to be able to use v201509.

I also recommend watching this page to ensure timely update and avoid

Re: Trigger: Unable to read report data

2015-10-20 Thread Nadine Sundquist (AdWords API Team)
Hello Jesus,

Would you happen to log the SOAP response? If so, could you click *Reply
Privately to Author* and send me the *requestId* that came back with the
error? If not, could you please click *Reply Privately to Author* and send
me your client customer ID? That will make it easier for me to pull the
exact log on our servers associated with that error.

Thanks,

Re: Announcing v201509 of the AdWords API

2015-10-20 Thread Josh Radcliff (AdWords API Team)
Hi Bernardo,

Video campaigns are *only* available in reports. You will not get any
information for video campaigns from the SOAP services (CampaignService,
AdGroupService, etc.).

You can include or exclude video campaigns by filtering on
AdvertisingChannelType

 VIDEO in your requests.

Thanks,
Josh, AdWords API Team

P.S. If you have further questions, could you post a new topic so that our
discussion is not mixed in with the original announcement? We find it's
best to have separate topics for specific questions, as it makes it easier
for people to find the topic that addresses their specific issue.

Hi, Umesh:

That is exactly what I'm doing, but i dont get that enum value. Here is my
code:

ReportDefinition reportDefinition = new ReportDefinition();
reportDefinition.setReportName("Campaign performance report #" + startDate +

reportDefinition.setDateRangeType(ReportDefinitionDateRangeType.CUSTOM_DATE);
reportDefinition.setReportType(ReportDefinitionReportType.VIDEO_PERFORMANCE_REPORT);
reportDefinition.setDownloadFormat(DownloadFormat.XML);

Re: Errors in Java maven com.google.api-ads version 2.5.0

2015-10-20 Thread Josh Radcliff (AdWords API Team)
Hi,

In v2.5.0, we upgraded to Guice 4.0 (see the ChangeLog
).
I suspect this is what's causing the exception you mentioned.

Do any of your other maven dependencies depend on Guice? Now that the
client library depends on Guice 4.0, you might run into strange problems if
another dependency depends on Guice 3.x.

Thanks,

Re: Cannot get AdType of IMAGE_AD in ad-performance-report

2015-10-20 Thread Josh Radcliff (AdWords API Team)
Hi Akiko,

I would be surprised if we ever return the images of template ads in
reports. The image data could be massive and isn't human-readable, so
reporting is not a good fit for this information.

However, you can get *some* images back using the SOAP services. In
particular, if you uploaded the image via MediaService.upload

 and
use the returned mediaId

 when
creating the image template element field in the TemplateAd, then you can
use MediaService.get

 (or
*query*) to retrieve the Urls

 attribute
of each image. In that attribute, you'll find a key for FULL that has a
link to the image.

Re: Как получить стандартный доступ к api

2015-10-20 Thread Umesh Dengale
Hello,

The developer token with basic access has 10,000/per day limit. When you
try to submit more than 10,000 operations you will receive the
RateExceededError
(rateName=BillingPerDay). Please see our rate limit
 guide
and rate sheet and non-compliance fees
 guide for more
information.

I will follow up with the Compliance team for 403 error for standard access
application.

Thanks,
Umesh, AdWords API Team.

Unable to delete CrmBasedUserLists using API v201509

2015-10-20 Thread Hunter
I am adding support for CrmBasedUserLists to our production code and in
testing found that I was unable to REMOVE a CrmBasedUserList that I set
using the API. I got an OPERATOR_NOT_SUPPORTED error. Is this expected
behavior? I don't see it documented anywhere in the AdwordsUserListService

Re: Filter Campaign Type in Account Perforamnce

Hi,

No need to apologize. When using the Campaign Performance Report, your
report rows will be aggregated based on campaigns. You will typically get
one row per campaign unless you use a segment in one of your selector
fields.

Re: Announcing v201509 of the AdWords API

2015-10-20 Thread Bernardo Alves
Hi Josh,

I already implemented the (long awaited) Video campaign metrics on my
reports. This was a great improvement. I am now able to get a Campaign
Performance Report that includes video campaigns and video metrics along
with the other campaign types and metrics. Nevertheless, I spotted a small
problem when I realized that making a GET request to the campaign service
does not yet return the video campaigns. Since I have structured an
application that relies on this metadata to build the filters for the
report, I have no way to create a specific filter for these campaigns, not
to mention other parts of my application that require campaign metadata for
ALL campaigns.

So may question is, did I miss something or is there no way to retrieve the
video campaigns when making a GET request to the Campaign Service? Are
there any alternatives?

Meny thanks,
Bernardo

Video Performance Report - missing field data?

2015-10-20 Thread Dana Gray
I have successfully pulled video performance reports but in comparing with
the google adwords web UI it appears that some fields are not populating
with data. I get data for 100,75,50,25 quartile fields but views, view
rate, conversions, cost/conv, etc are showing '0' as the value where the
web UI will show values I would expect. I checked a specific day and the
clicks value was an exact match. Below is the report definition I am using
(python with pythonmarketo library)
'video': {
'reportName': 'video_performance_rpt',
'dateRangeType': 'CUSTOM_DATE',
'reportType': 'VIDEO_PERFORMANCE_REPORT',
'downloadFormat': 'TSV',
'selector': {
'dateRange': {
'min': 'mmdd',
'max': 'mmdd'
},
#'dateRange' : {'min': '20150101', 'max': '20151001'},
'fields': [
'Date', 'CampaignId', 'AdGroupId', 'AverageCpv',
'AdNetworkType2', 'Device',
'EngagementRate', 'Engagements', 'Clicks', 'ClickType',
'CostPerConversion', 'ConversionRate', 'Conversions',
'ConversionValue', 'CreativeId', 'VideoDuration',
'VideoQuartile100Rate',
'VideoQuartile75Rate','VideoQuartile50Rate','VideoQuartile25Rate',
'VideoTitle', 'VideoViewRate', 'VideoViews'
]
},
'includeZeroImpressions': 'false'
}
Thanks for your help!

Video Performance Report - missing data in fields

2015-10-20 Thread Dana Gray

I have successfully pulled reports from the api but in cross checking the
data with that from the web UI I have noticed some fields are not returning
data that is showing on the web ('Views', 'View Rate', 'CostPerConversion',
'ConversionRate', 'Conversions', 'ConversionValue'). Yet data for the
various quartiles does appear in the api generated report.
Using python, pythonmarketo library with the following report definition

'video': {
'reportName': 'video_performance_rpt',
'dateRangeType': 'CUSTOM_DATE',
'reportType': 'VIDEO_PERFORMANCE_REPORT',
'downloadFormat': 'TSV',
'selector': {
'dateRange': {
'min': 'mmdd',
'max': 'mmdd'
},
#'dateRange' : {'min': '20141201', 'max': '20141202'},
'fields': [
'Date', 'CampaignId', 'AdGroupId', 'AverageCpv',
'AdNetworkType2', 'Device',
'EngagementRate', 'Engagements', 'Clicks', 'ClickType',
'CostPerConversion', 'ConversionRate', 'Conversions',
'ConversionValue', 'CreativeId', 'VideoDuration',

Re: "Exclude Tablets" when creating the ad

2015-10-20 Thread Umesh Dengale
Hi Elga,

You can't exclude "tablets" for an individual ad. You could create the
campaign *Platform* criteria

 and
you can target specific platform by selecting the criteria Id from this list
. Please
check the CampaignCriterionService

 for
more details.

Thanks,
Umesh, AdWords API Team.

Have you filled out the second part

If not, please go ahead and fill it out. Once you submit that form, the

If you DID fill out this form, let me know your AdWords manager account

I don't see impressions available in the new v201509 Video Performance Report

2015-10-20 Thread Sean Busa
Is this something that will be added soon? In the Google Developer
definition for the new report it shows the 'Supports zero impressions'
Boolean attribute and also in the click type field it mentions "The
Impressions field will reflect how often the ad was served with that click
type available. Since ads can serve with multiple click types displayed,
impressions may be double counted and the totals may not be accurate. " but
there is no Impressions field and I get a
ReportDefinitionError.INVALID_FIELD_NAME_FOR_REPORT when I try to add it to
the definition.

Re: Get list of verticals

2015-10-20 Thread Nadine Sundquist (AdWords API Team)
Hi Tiana,

Thanks for clarifying your question. I had to go talk to a few people to
find out if something changed. I found out that the Vertical

object is being deprecated. In this post
,
it talks about how *other interests* are being removed and migrated to
other objects. We still have the Vertical object there for read-only until
all the accounts have been migrated automatically on the back-end. For new
criterion, please use one of the other criterion such as
CriterionUserInterest
.

I'll be working on getting documentation updated so that's more clear.

Thanks,
Nadine, AdWords API Team

Re: Getting country, region, and city names from geo performance report?

2015-10-20 Thread glance . google
Hi Umesh,

We downloaded the CSV file from the posted link (AdWords API Location
Criteria 2015-10-13.csv) and it appears that few entries that came through
API as names are not listed in the CSV file under the right category
(apparently).

   1. We have "Aruba" under CountryCriteriaId (from previous API) but in
   the CSV file Aruba (id: 2533) is under TargetType "Region". We have 22 such
   entries for country that appear under "Region" target type instead of
   Country -- Aruba,Guadeloupe,Puerto Rico,Turks and Caicos Islands,British
   Virgin Islands,Cayman
   Islands,Kosovo,Other,Timor-Leste,Martinique,Taiwan,Anguilla,Bermuda,Faroe
   Islands,Gibraltar,Greenland,Hong Kong,Macau,Mayotte,Netherlands
   Antilles,Palestine,U.S. Virgin Islands
   2. We have two entries in "RegionCriteria" British Columbia (id: 20114)
   and Ontario (id: 20121) that appear under "Province" target type instead of
   "State" (like other regions do).

I wanted to know how to map these existing country and region criteria
names.

Thanks.

Delete Audience RLSA

2015-10-20 Thread srkeshav
Hello,

1) How to delete all the non-crmbased (non-customer match - email)
audiences in an adgroup? I downloaded the audience performance report for a
particular adgroup but there is no AudienceName field which can be used to
identify a specific audience. If i delete all the audience for that adgroup
using the Criterion ID, the job deletes all the audiences including the new
crm_based_user_lists which are email audiences. Is there a way to delete
only non-crmbased audiences? I do not want to delete the email audiences,
but i want to delete all other audiences.

2) Also, is there a field for "Audience Name" in the
audience_performance_report"?

Regards,
SK

Re: Video Perfomance Report

2015-10-20 Thread Umesh Dengale
Hi Emiliano,

The AdWords API v201509, I am able to get enum value for
ReportDefinitionReportType.VIDEO_PERFORMANCE_REPORT
using Java client library. Please check the GetReportFields

 Java
example code (v201509) from client library and change line to
.getReportFields(ReportDefinitionReportType.*VIDEO_PERFORMANCE_REPORT*); .
Please run the example with these changes and you will able to see
VIDEO_PERFORMANCE_REPORT report fields.

Please make sure you are importing *import
com.google.api.ads.adwords.axis.v201509.cm.ReportDefinitionReportType;*  in
your report class.

Thanks,
Umesh, AdWords API Team.
