Re: Is it possible to dynamically update a Customer Match audience?

2018-05-23 Thread Prashant Pandey
*There is a limit depending on the highest amount accounts together spent
in a month, from the last 12 months the maximum account limit varies from a
limit of 50 accounts for less than $10,000 and 2,500 accounts for a spent
between $10,000 to $500,000. The limit is 85,000 accounts for spent greater
than $500,000. You could refer this guide
 to know more about
account limits for a manager account.*I am sorry but I think I have framed
my question wrong.
Scenario - A customer using this
 gives
my firm the access to upload emails on their behalf to their adWords
account (to create audiences). I want to understand, in what way does my
adWords account (the account with which the developer token , used to make
API calls, is associated) gets related/connected to my customers adWords
account (which gives me refresh-token via the above method). Do I become
their Manager account? Or do I remain unconnected?

PS: sorry for the duplicity, It took 2/3 days for my question to be posted
here so I thought it was rejected, hence made a new one.

Re: querying removed *negative* keywords

2018-05-23 Thread 'Peter Oliquino (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi Charles,

AdWords sometimes permanently deletes those objects which did not really
generate any statistics. So for your removed objects, you may still be able
to retrieve their information using the service or report which specializes
in those entities and by applying the correct Status filter. In the event
that no object is returned, then this would mean that they have already
been permanently deleted.

Thanks and regards,

Re: Rate Limit / Best Practices for Remarketing

2018-05-23 Thread 'Bharani Cherukuri (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hello Prashant,

You will be able to add up to 1Million users in a single request. This will
be calculated as one operation towards the daily limit. You will be able to
verify this through the Operations count in the response header. Please
check this guide
 on
how operations are counted towards the account limits.

This said, ideally uploading 1Million users in a single request should
work. If you're having any trouble, please share the request Id and the
error you're receiving, so I can take a look.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Re: Rate Limit / Best Practices for Remarketing

2018-05-23 Thread Prashant Pandey
*You will be able to add/remove up to 100 members to a member list.
Please check this guide

for
more information. Batch Job Processing is currently not supported for the
AdWordsUserListService.*
I am confused, sorry. You mean I can add 1Million members to a member list
in one request or overall?

*With a Basic access developer token, you will be able to execute 10,000
operations and download up to 1000 reports per day. So on this scale, if
you're looking to upload up to 50M emails, it would be counted as 50
operations towards the daily limits. *
I will be able to achieve 50 operations only if I send 1Million members per
request correct? I want to understand how are "Operations" defined. If I am
sending 50M emails in 25000 request ( calling mutateMembers 25000 times )
will it still be counted as 50 operations or 25000 operations.

Also what do you suggest the batch size should be? 1 Million or a more
frugal 2k?

Please bear with me.

Thanks

 Hi,

Just so I'm clear on the first question, could you explain which issue
you would like a clear solution for? There have been a couple of different
 issues discussed in this thread.

To check if you email is a manager account, you have a few options:

1. Log into adwords.google.com using the email address. If the
account is a manager account, you will see *Accounts* in the list
of pages on the left.
2. Issue a CustomerService.getCustomers

  request
using OAuth2 credentials for the account, and inspect the
 canManageClients
field

 .

If your account is a manager account, *canManageClients* will be
*true*.

Re: How to validate AdGroupFeed Matching Functions against feed

2018-05-23 Thread 'Michael Cloonan (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hello,

There is no way to see exactly what feed items are matched by a specific
matching function, unfortunately. That sounds like a great idea, however,
so I'm going to pass it along to the team to see if it's something we can
add in the future.

Multiple Search Parameters for GetKeywordIdeas(v201802)

2018-05-23 Thread Sally CHEN

Hi,

I am testing the TargetingIdeaPage. When I only pass the
SeedAdGroupIdSearchParameter , it will return the keyword ideas that
related to my ad group. When I only pass the RelatedToQuerySearchParameter,
it will return the keyword ideas that related to the given keyword, but
when I pass my SeedAdGroupIdSearchParameter *AND* the
RelatedToQuerySearchParameter the result is the same as only passing the
RelatedToQuerySearchParameter.

I read the Google AdWords API Document (
https://developers.google.com/adwords/api/docs/reference/v201802/TargetingIdeaService.TargetingIdeaSelector),

and I found that the adGroup's keywords would be used to generate new and
related keywords when passing the SeedAdGroupIdSearchParameter. I would
like to know what is the right result when passing the
RelatedToQuerySearchParameter and SeedAdGroupIdSearchParameter to the
targetingIdeaService. Also, I would like to know the strategy to give out
the keyword ideas when passing multiple search parameters, especially the
'RelatedToQuerySearchParameter', 'SeedAdGroupIdSearchParameter' and
'RelatedToUrlSearchParameter'.

Thanks
Sally

BatchJob performance issues

2018-05-23 Thread Thorsten Merz
Hey there,

it seems that starting today we are experiencing performance issues with
the batch job service (API v201710).

Usually our batchjobs take only seconds to finish up to 1-2 minutes. Since
today our batch jobs run within 10, 20, 30 or even 60 minutes with similar
amount of operations and operation types.

Are there any specific issues currently ongoing with the batch job queue /
service / API?

BatchID example: 743564948

Some help on how to resolve these issues would be appreciated.

Regards

Thorsten

BatchJobs processing speed suddenly very slow

2018-05-23 Thread Thorsten Merz
Hey there,

since today we are experiencing extremely poor performance on the batch job
processing via AdWords API (v201710).

Before we were executing batches of different sizes within seconds or even
1-2 minutes. Now it might take up around 10, 20, 30 or 60 minutes to finish
similar jobs.

Is there currently an issue with the batch job service / API or is there a
way to provide some addition information that might help us resolve this
issue?

Regards,

Thorsten

Re: First API call_Get AdWords Quality

2018-05-23 Thread 'Peter Oliquino (AdWords API Team)' via AdWords API and Google Ads API Forum
Hi Sam,

If you wish to utilize the AdWords API reports then, you may first refer to
our reporting
 guide for
information on how to generate reports. Next is, you can refer to our sample
report codes
 (also
available in other languages) on how your code should look like when
requesting them.

For your keywords, you may generate the Keywords Performance Report
,

as this report type specializes in fetching metrics and statistics of your
keyword objects within your account. Also, if what you are looking for is
an example on how to send a request via HTTP, then you may refer here
 for
the API call structure. You can then include your report definition in that
request and you can refer to this section

 of
our reporting guide on how to construct the report.

Let me know if this helps and feel free to create a new forum thread with
this new concern.

Thanks and regards,
Peter
