Re: Impression count UI vs API - gaps of a factor of ~2

2020-07-02 Thread Tal Lipits
Hi Mitchell,

Thanks a lot for a quick reply.

Looks like indeed the settings are all identical.

I ran another test, with matchType=EXACT and got gaps with similar factor
of 2:
Keyword=’55 inch tv’  UI Impressions=
2,592API impressionsPerDay (average of max and min)=
1135
Keyword=’baby stuff’ UI Impressions=
988API impressionsPerDay (average of max and min)= 389
Keyword=’converse boots’  UI Impressions= 1508
API impressionsPerDay (average of max and min)= 748

   1. Is there anyway to check that the settings are identical on the
   server side too? In other words - how do I make sure that there aren't any
   gaps after all. I could only compare settings I'm using on the client side
   (whether it is the API or the UI).
   2. I understand that these are different systems, and gaps are expected.
   Just to make sure I'm inline with the expected behavior - Is it also
   expected to see a factor of 2?

Thanks a lot,
Tal

googleads.yaml error

2020-07-02 Thread Ravi Gopalan
At the line below

adwords_client = adwords.AdWordsClient.LoadFromStorage('/file_path_

I get an error
GoogleAdsValueError: Given yaml file, ~googleads.yaml , could not find some
keys. The "adwords" configuration is missing

This is the error when accessing adwords client from a GCE VM.
However, I dont get this error when accessing from Python client on Mac
terminal

Is there a different format required to access the adwords client from a
Google Virtual Machine?

Re: Revoking invitations

2020-07-02 Thread MWA
Found the problem,

API is working fine, but on web interface request takes an hour or so to
disappear the request, when I request again then NO_PENDING_INVITATION
error occurs because the request was fulfilled first time only request
doesn't go way on website, it would be great help if you look into this and
remove the request from web interface ASAP too.

Thanks.

2020-07-02 Thread Bogdan Onyshenko

I am trying to use an adword api to get some keyword statistics. But what I
see is that with a same parameters my monthly search volue is about 7 mln
searches. While adword keyword planner shows around 400-500. I can provide
php code with parameters I am setting. Network settings:

$networkSetting = new NetworkSetting();
$networkSetting->setTargetGoogleSearch(true);
$networkSetting->setTargetSearchNetwork(false);
$networkSetting->setTargetContentNetwork(false);
$networkSetting->setTargetPartnerSearchNetwork(false);

Language is set to Russian following way:

 $languageParameter = new LanguageSearchParameter();
$english = new Language();
$english->setId(1031);
$languageParameter->setLanguages([$english]);
$searchParameters[] = $languageParameter;

Location is set to Ukraine:

$loc = array();
$location = new location();
$location->setId(2804); // Ukraine
$loc[]=$location;
$locationTargetParameter = new LocationSearchParameter();
$locationTargetParameter->setLocations($loc);
$searchParameters[] = $locationTargetParameter;

Update Account Budget using Google Adwords API

2020-07-02 Thread Sanket Tandalekar
Hi,

I'm looking to update the Account Budget using Adwords API. I found a
documentation link for developers but want to confirm whether to refer to
the same documentation.

Documentation Link:
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/reference/rpc/v3/AccountBudgetProposal

If this is the one, Can you elaborate on the term "proposed" and
"approved"? What is the difference between them? Or Is there any specific
order that we must follow during the Account budget update?

If that's not the one, Can you guide me?

If you could elaborate on those points it would be really helpful.

Thanks.

Mismatch in Budget in BudgetOrderService API and BudgetPerformanceReport API

2020-07-02 Thread Sanket Tandalekar
Hi,

I wanted to fetch the budget for a specific account. I initially
used BudgetOrderService API to fetch budget and the budget value matched
with the Google Adwords Console budget value for those specific accounts
but later I came to know that I cannot apply dateRange in that API.

I was suggested to use Budget Performance Report API so I used report API
to fetch budget but when I tried matching the Budget count with the one
displayed on Google Adwords Console was different. There was a mismatch in
budget value. I'm using the "Amount" field to fetch the budget from the
Budget Performance Report API. Am I using an incorrect field? Why is there
a mismatch in the budget? Is there something I'm missing? Are there any
additional calculations that need to be done to match the count?

Thanks.
