Google Ads API historical metrics month is ahead by 1 month

Hello,

When you request for historical keyword metrics with Google Ads API, it 
shows that the latest period is September 2020, but in fact the data is not 
out yet. (The latest as of now is August 2020 data).

I've verified with the older Google AdWords API and Keyword Planner.

I also noticed this bug has been there for a while, any resolution to this?

Thanks for posting your concern.

Upon checking the provided accounts, I can see that the campaign type of the 
provided campaign IDs is 'Video'. With this, could you confirm if the type of 
campaign that you are expecting to get via the API is 'Video', but not 
returned? If yes, then I am afraid that this is not possible because video 
campaign is not supported in the API but supported only in reports as discuss 
on this document.

Cannot change campaign payment mode

I am using the v5 of the c# api, i'm having error like this one when 
changing a campaign payment mode to "Clicks":
Error : The error code is not in this version.\r\n ErrorDetails :\r\n 
ErrorFieldPath : operations[1].update.payment_mode

This campaign has a advertising channel type of Display, a bidding strategy 
of TargetCpa and an actual payment mode of *Unknown*

Getting "--" values for ContentBudgetLostImpressionShare in CAMPAIGN_PERFORMANCE_REPORT

Hello there,

I'm trying to include the ContentBudgetLostImpressionShare metric within 
the CAMPAIGN_PERFORMANCE_REPORT that we download on a schedule. However, 
the result values are all "--" (two dashes) instead of what's being shown 
in the Adwords UI (where there's either percentages or "> percentage"). I'm 
confused since I have made sure that I'm not including any incompatible 
fields as mentioned in this doc 

 and 
the filters are matching between the AWQL and the UI... Could someone help 
me look into this? Please let me know if there's other info I should 
provide!

Google Ads Campaigns inaccessible via API Calls

Our API key is not allowing us to access new Campaigns from Accounts that 
our Account has access to. We are simply receiving a subset of the 
Campaigns that exist under the Account ID we are requesting for. Would like 
to understand why or if we are calling with a filter we should not be.

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out. The manager accounts on the screenshot you provided 
are not necessarily in the same account hierarchy. Thus, it is not possible to 
fetch information for all of these accounts at the same time if they happen to 
be not in the same hierarchy. But if they are, you could use the highest level 
manager account to authenticate and give it a try to query the 
customer_client.id from the customer_client resource and set 
customer_client.manager to true in the WHERE clause.

Hey there, I seem to have a similar error when trying to create an 
ExpandedTextAd. Getting the message that 'Field 'ad_group' is required for 
'CREATE' operation'.

Similar to the example above I do provide resource name and everything 
required. Google Ads V4 does not complain about this. Using batch jobs to 
create the ads.

user list service - status of upload

Hi,

Firstly can I say it's great to see a forum where the developers actually 
reply! 

I have a python script that uploads or removes hashed emails to a user list 

Adwords_client.GetService('AdwordsUserListService', 'v201809')
mutate_members_operation = {
'operand': {
': google,
'membersList': hashed_email},
'operator': 'REMOVE'} 
response = user_list_service.mutateMembers([mutate_members_operation])  


Is there a way of getting a response back to say whether the add/delete of 
users was successful ? And if possible how many records were successfully 
removed/added? 

How would I do this?

Geo performance report - Filter by region returns cities from other regions

Hi there,

I'm fetching cities filtered by region, but cities are being returned that 
are not actually in that region. For example, requesting cities filtered by 
region Missouri (Region ID: 21157). 

All cities returned indeed have the region ID for Missouri in the result, 
but checking the cities themselves they are actually from random other 
states as well (e.g. Perry (State: Georgia), Hollister (State: California), 
Sheldon (State: Iowa), etc.). Plotting them all on a map, you get just an 
overview of the entire US rather than just the cities in Missouri:

campaign, the bidding scheme should be set first in the BiddingStrategy.

We were getting only 315 campaigns but Google was showing 963.

How to Get all the manager accounts???

I want to get all the Manager account using oauth2 API, which is listing in 
attached screenshot.

But when I try to get all manager account after allow oauth2 service then I 
got only first manager account. Not others account.

Can You Please help me! ??

accounts. Since my developer token is in review, I need to test the whole case 
in "sandbox mode" with "Test Manager" and "Test Accounts". Can I create a Test 
Account from the UI without providing billing details? And last but not least: 
Do the Test Manager Account need to be within the same account? ... or better: 
must be the LIVE Account part of the LIVE Manager Account?

Moving forward, could you confirm if you have already tried this .NET guide in 
enabling logging? You may also try and reach out to the .NET client library 
owners via this Github link, if you are having issues enabling logging in their 
client library.

Once enabling has been successful, you may send the generated request and 
response logs via the Reply privately to author option so our team can 
investigate the issues you are encountering with your API requests.
