Regarding your concern about successful API transactions (no API errors) for 
criteria and those not reflecting properly via the UI, I would recommend that 
you reach out to the Google Ads Product Support team, via this link, to learn 
more if it is intended behavior on their end to not display certain 
status/attributes.

As for your below statement :

Also when "Exclude from ad group" in Google Ads API, the API returns ENABLED 
status ; How can I execute "Exclude from ad group" via API ?

The ENABLED status indicates that a certain criteria is currently actively 
targeting or being excluded in your account. If by exclude you meant REMOVED 
then you will need to perform a mutate request to remove the said criteria.

As for excluding (negative) criteria, you will need to create the said criteria 
(AgeRangeInfo) at the ad group level using the AdGroupCriterionService and 
specify the negative attribute as TRUE. Let me know if this helps.

Thank you for posting your concern.

In order to upload customer match in your account by either using UI or API, 
you will need to meet the requirements discussed on this document first. Then, 
after completing the requirements, you will need to reach out to your account 
manager or Google representative in order to allowlist your account for 
uploading customer match.

requirements. Let me know if you have further questions.

If you want to get the data and statistics at the campaign level, then you will 
need to use the Campaign Performance Report instead. You can include the 
StartDate field on this report as it will return the start date of the 
campaign, formatted as -MM-dd.

You may refer to this document to read more information about refresh token 
expiration. Since you are noticing that your refresh token expires every week, 
then it appears that the scenario below is happening at your end.
"A Google Cloud Platform project with an OAuth consent screen configured for an 
external user type and a publishing status of "Testing" is issued a refresh 
token expiring in 7 days."

Unfortunately, this is already outside of our scope and would not be able to 
provide answer to your questions below. With this, I would suggest posting your 
questions on this support channel instead to get answer from the more equipped 
team for this topic.
"Is it possible to get a refresh_token once and then update it in the 
background, without starting the browser and all the follow up?

Or, is it possible to increase refresh_token lifetime?"

Hi Hailong,

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. In looking voer the 
docuemnts, I want to just make sure that you have done the following items. As 
it looks like there has been an erroro in setting up the account which is why 
you would get this.

Have you checked to make sure that you have the correct account Id and secret 
Word, as shown here ..
Have you setup the refresh tokens, as shown here , and all the ids at the top 
level of the files.

Hi there,

When managing multiple criterions of campaigns/groups/etc is it really 
important for campaign efficiency to be smart and avoid changing of 
unchanged data?

For example, if keywords are changed in the way:
- remove whole old set
- add whole new set 
?

vs
find 
1) OLD - NEW
2) NEW - OLD

remove only 1 subset and add only 2 subset.

Will it make any difference for moderation, machine learning data and other 
important aspects affecting campaign activity and efficiency?

App Conversion Tracking and Remarketing API

Hi, I want to use App Conversion Tracking and Remarketing API option to 
notify Google Ads of Android and iOS conversion and remarketing events 
 from MY 
analytics system.

I carefully followed the documentation and I didn't understand how to get 
Provider's ID to connect my third-party analytics to Google Ads in my 
manager account to get Link ID. 

I'm stuck on the step: 

"To create a link ID associated with your unique developer token, select *Other 
provider* from the *app analytics provider* dropdown. In the input box 
labeled *Enter your provider's ID* enter the external customer ID 
associated with the Google Ads manager account where you applied for your 
developer token. Enter the ID without dashes (ex. 1234567890 for an account 
ID shown as 123-456-7890 in the Google Ads UI)." 

I make this step in my manager account and got the error: Provider's ID is 
invalid.

How to get this Provider's ID? Am I supposed to register my third-party 
analytics to get the Provider's ID, if so, then where? Or how to connect my 
third party analytics to Google Ad.

One of my advertisers (296-110-8878) is currently working with Googles API, 
the one found here:

However, the advertiser is having some trouble as one metric they need 
returned is the start date of each Campaign. However, the only date 
information the advertiser can find that is returnable is the current date, 
not the date each campaign was started? Could you please help the 
advertiser in being able to return the information they require in the API 
call?

refresh_token update in the background

Preamble:
I use desktop app flow, generate a refresh_token and successfully get data 
from Google Ads.
But after about a week, the token stops working and I have to run 
authenticate_in_desktop_application.py again. (all actions from here 

)
- go to the browser 
- sign in to my Google Ads account
- And give permission on the OAuth2 consent screen

The question is as follows:
Is it possible to get a refresh_token once and then update it in the 
background, without starting the browser and all the follow up? 

Or, is it possible to increase refresh_token lifetime?

I would be grateful for any information.
