Hi, 

In the Google Ads web interface there is a Products report in the left hand 
menu. In the Products sub menu the report has a column called "Active in" 
which shows how many campaigns the product is active in. 

Please can you tell me where I can get this metric from using the API?

Thank you for reaching out to Google Ads API support. We have impression share 
metrics and quality score, for example the campaign resource has 
metrics.historical_creative_quality_score and metrics.search_impression_share. 
The campaign report has a GAQL query generator you can access by clicking on 
the "Help me build a query" button at top of page, just like every other report 
resource in the API has a query generator.

Could you privately send us a full screen screenshot of the Ads UI of a report 
that you want to replicate in the API?

Hi Sprighub,

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.

Kindly note that the RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED error generally occurs when you are 
sending too many requests in a short period of time. The server throws this 
error once it detects that your request has exceeded the system frequency 
limit. I would recommend setting up short delays between requests or combine 
more operations in fewer requests.

Please refer to the Best practices guide to optimize the efficiency and 
performance. Also, this may occur if you have already exceeded the daily limit 
of 15,000 API operations per day. You may refer to this documentation for the 
quota you need to consider daily when performing requests using the API. It 
says that the basic access level allows the developer token to execute up to 
15,000 operational requests per day and 1,000 get operations per day only.

However, we would request that you provide the complete request and response 
logs, with the request-id, generated for the RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED error in order 
to check further. You can enable logging, which you may do so by navigating to 
the Client libraries > Your client library (ex. Java) > Logging documentation, 
which you can access from this link. Please reply via privately author option.

How can I ignore defunct extensions?

Hello, 

I have a report that emails me a list of disapproved extensions within an 
account. 

When I run this query on a particular account:

SELECT 
  feed_item.status, 
  feed_item.attribute_values, 
  feed_item.policy_infos, 
  feed_item.id 
FROM feed_item 
WHERE 
  feed_item.status = 'ENABLED' 

It returns an old review extension that has been disapproved. 

I cannot do anything with this information, since review extensions are no 
longer an option in Google Ads. 

How can I modify this query so that it will never return extensions that 
can no longer be used in Google Ads?

I would have thought *feed_item.status = 'ENABLED'* would have accomplished 
this, but this old review extension is, in fact, listed as enabled.

Location_view not providing all countries data using API

I was fetching location_view data using service "GoogleAdsService" and get 
type "SearchGoogleAdsStreamRequest" but the result of api call is combined 
data of all countries whereas in ads portal there are multiple countries.

1.) could you help to explain the product_mix?

Product Mix is addition to the targeting information, you must specify a 
product mix in order to generate a curve. There are two ways to do this.


Suggested mix - If you are not familiar with Google's video ad formats, then 
you can use the GenerateProductMixIdeas method to get a recommended split for a 
given budget in your currency and set of preferences including:

Whether or not you would like a guaranteed price on inventory.
If you would like video ad formats that include sound, are skippable or only 
show on top content.
A ReachPlanAdLength


Manual mix - If you are already familiar with Google's video ad formats, the 
ListPlannableProducts method on ReachPlanService will show the latest available 
formats for a given location ID, represented by the plannable_product_code and 
plannable_product_name fields of ProductMetadata. Keep in mind that these 
values change periodically, so it is best to provide your users with live 
results rather than persisting responses offline.
