How to change listing group type of UNIT nodes

2022-10-19 Thread Tiansi Liu

Hi Team,

We are preparing to release some new features to implement Standard
Shopping Campaign Tool RMF. I would like to learn more about RMF M.160
Subdivide (add product partition). I emailed the AdWords API
Compliance Team before and they directed me to ask questions here.

Question1. Is this a feature that needs to be operated by merchants on our
platform, or does the system help them split by default?

Question2. If it’s a feature for merchants, is there a minimum requirement
for levels in the tree? How to create levels more than two?

According to
https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/shopping-ads/create-listing-groups,

I set the ListingGroupType of the Root node to be SUBDIVISION, then at the
second level, the products are divided by category as
“category1”,”category2” and others. These nodes UNIT because they should
have a bid.

Then when I need to create the third level by brands/ conditions/ Item ID,
I need to change the node’s ListingGroupType from UNIT to SUBDIVISION to
continue with the subdivision. But I did not find an API to update
ListingGroupType. In this condition, we can only create 2 levels.

Do you have any suggestion on this? Looking forward to your reply.

Thank you!

Google Ads API

2022-10-19 Thread Muhammad Adnan
Hello,

I am trying to adjust conversion value after it has been reported. However,
i am facing the following error:

"A conversion for the supplied conversion action and conversion identifier
pair could not be found."

I am adjusting conversion after 24 hours and using correct configuration.
The same API code is working for one of the previous conversion on Oct 10,
but it is not working for conversion on 17 Oct. Can someone please help me
with this issue?

Thank you

RE: How to tag offline data with gCLID

2022-10-19 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi,

I am Carmela from the Google Ads API team. Thank you for reaching out.

Moving forward, kindly note that Google Ads API and Google Ads UI mirrors each
other. Having said that, you may see the below items:

How can i attribute this transaction to my campaign? Is there any API available
for this? >>> For this concern, please try using this click_view report and
select the click_view.ad_group_ad field in your request because this field
allows you to retrieve the associate ad. That said, you can use the ad that you
retrieved in order to know the campaign associated with it.
What data i have is only the gCLID and the name,email address,phone number
which is provided by my store. How will i map these users since i dont know
which gclid belongs to which user. >>> Kindly note that our team provides
technical support to conversions. That said, I would suggest reaching out to
the Product support team via this link as this is more of a product related
concern.
Is there a way to capture email id of visitors coming to website along with
GCLID?? >>> I am afraid that getting / fetching email ids of the visitors is
not possible using the Google Ads API.

Carmela

Re: Adwords API to Ads API migration

2022-10-19 Thread Nick Giordano
Hi Heidi

Thank you! I've finally begun the migration process and have gotten
somewhere.

I have a question about the API calls. With TargetingIdeaService, we
received CPC data. However, unless I'm mistaken, that data isn't returned
using KeywordPlanIdeaService? If it isn't, what API call do I need to use
to return CPC data?

Thanks,
Nick

 I've made different experiments based at our comment, but unfortunately
 still see the discrepancy.
 For account I look at we have data for CONTENT and YOUTUBE_WATCH
 networks, no data for YOUTUBE_SEARCH.
 Speaking of ad_group.type
 ,

 I've tried different combinations of filters for
 VIDEO_BUMPER
 VIDEO_EFFICIENT_REACH
 VIDEO_NON_SKIPPABLE_IN_STREAM
 VIDEO_OUTSTREAM
 VIDEO_RESPONSIVE
 VIDEO_TRUE_VIEW_IN_DISPLAY
 VIDEO_TRUE_VIEW_IN_STREAM
 and still with no luck.
 This way I still need assistance here.
 Is this possible For Google Ads API team to check the formula for
 SUMMARY_ROW and provide it here, as SUMMARY_ROW matches Google Ads UI.
 Thanks!

RE: How to change listing group type of UNIT nodes

2022-10-19 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Tiansi,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Ads API Support.

Kindly see below responses to your queries:

1.Is this a feature that needs to be operated by merchants on our platform, or
does the system help them split by default?

>> You may note that shopping listing groups let you partition your products
>> into groups (referred to as product groups in the UI), and constructing of

>> automatically or by default. With this, the application that you will build
>> should support customizing of listing groups and aligned with our guide
>> (https://developers.google.com/google-ads/api/docs/shopping-ads/create-listing-groups).

2. If it’s a feature for merchants, is there a minimum requirement for levels
in the tree? How to create levels more than two?

>> You may refer to this blog post, and this page on the Required Minimum

Also, I agree that it needs to change the node’s ListingGroupType from UNIT to
SUBDIVISION in order to continue with the subdivision and to create the third
level by brands/ conditions/ Item ID. As per this product support guide, you
can subdivide up to 7 levels for each product group in any order you want. You
can have a product group for all your products and bid the same amount for all
of them. In the opposite way, you can also have smaller product groups
organized by brand or product category. Keep in mind that you can't set a bid
on a product group that has been subdivided--you'll set bids on the product
groups without subdivisions. For the sample available code, you may refer to
this page, and follow the examples provided under the Shopping Ads.

However, the link you provided appears to open Gmail instead of a forum post.
In addition, and for better tracking, could you create a new thread with the

Steps to insert a client in Customer Match using API REST

2022-10-19 Thread Luiz Eduardo
Hi, sorry for my english. When a customer makes a purchase, i'm trying
insert him i a customer match, i do the following steps:

1 - generate access token
2 - create an offline user data job.
3 - add operation to the offline user data job.
if email is gmail:
operations: [
{
create: {
userIdentifiers: [{hashedEmail: email@gmail}]
}
}
]
if not
operations: [
{
create: {
userIdentifiers: [{hashedPhoneNumber: number}]
}
}
]

4 - run the offline user data job.

I wonder about:
1 - Can sending one at a time cause any problems?
2 - why even with success status the customer match size doesn't increase?

Re: How to add custom question ? Length issue

2022-10-19 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Anna,

Thank you for raising your concern. I am also a member of the Google Ads API
team and let me provide support to your concern.

You may try using the asset report and including the
asset.lead_form_asset.custom_question_fields field. I was able to retrieve
custom question information when I used this suggestion so you can try it on
your end as well.

Let me know if you have further questions.

How can I retrieve attributes and performance metrics for discovery campaigns with the Google Ads API?

2022-10-19 Thread Edward Hidalgo
I am trying to consult the data of my discovery campaigns and I cannot
bring the respective information. It only works for search campaigns and
maximum performance, I'm using the google ads api V11.

[image: WhatsApp Image 2022-10-19 at 22.51.56.jpg]

It doesn't work for me when I use the google ads api. Is this query
supported?

RE: asset_group API

2022-10-19 Thread 'Google Ads API Forum Advisor' via Google Ads API and AdWords API Forum
Hi Hwansang,

Thank you for reaching us out. I am Sherwin from Google Ads API support team. I
hope that you are doing well today.

Moving forward to your concern, in Google Ads API perspective, please try to
use the asset_group_asset and include the
asset_group_asset.policy_summary.approval_status in the query. You may use this
GAQL to create the query.

Please let us know if this works for you.

Kind regards,

Sherwin Vincent

Hi,

This is Carmela from the Google Ads API team. Kindly note that I had to delete
your post in the forum thread as you have provided screenshot which have
sensitive data.

With regard to your concern, since this is about your Google Cloud Project,
then I would suggest reaching out to the Google Cloud support team via this
link as they are better equipped to provide explanation and guidance to this
matter.
